A Tibetan Lama studied with his tutor for several years. The Tibetan Lama thought he had learned well, so he asked for leave from his guru, went to another place to give lectures, and built a Dojo. Many disciples have learned from him.
One day, his guru took many disciples and said that we should go and see the Lama. I heard that he did a good job, so let's go and see him. When the Lama heard that his guru had brought many other disciples, he felt very honored: Look! I now have a Dojo with so many disciples.
He called all the disciples who converted to him and said, "My guru will come tomorrow. Let's clean up the environment and give the guru a good impression. " . Everyone will clean up the whole environment. At dusk, the Lama went outside and saw that the hall was clean and tidy inside and outside, but the Tibetan Lama worked hard after all, and he knew all the true ways of Buddhism. He may be confused in six roots for a while, but he is back in the light, alas! Why would I do that? Actually, I'm climbing. I hope my brothers and sisters will praise me, and I hope Master will affirm me.
The whole process is mainly climbing. The karma created by climbing is the karma of life and death. At this time, he felt very ashamed, took a handful of mud with him, went to the stairs in front of the main hall, sprinkled it inside, and went in after sprinkling.
The next day, his guru and other disciples came together and received the driver grandly. After receiving the driver, he went to the main hall to show off. His guru said: the environment is clean today, but the most solemn thing is that the soil in front of the main hall stairs is the most solemn.
? Why? Because his master can see that he is treating his climbing heart.
Of course, we are not encouraging people to throw things away, but today we saw the thing itself and the way behind it, alas! Men began to reflect. That's why don't look with your eyes, look with your heart; Don't listen with your ears, listen with your heart.
That's what the Buddha meant, because we are used to seeing with our eyes and listening with our ears, and you can't get rid of your life and death career. We have a strong habit of climbing now. Worry produces karma, karma produces karma, and karma affects our worries. You have to unplug it. What do you want? To be reasonable, we should see the emptiness, falsehood and neutrality of things, especially the emptiness, otherwise we will never jump out. This is a vicious circle.
So if you look at our scriptures, the Buddha will always meet something and ask, "Where are you from? Find the way behind, don't be confused by this matter, it is telling you the power of observation.
