Yang Jincai, born in Dingxing, Hebei Province (now living in Beijing), has been fond of painting and calligraphy since childhood. With his own talent, under the guidance of famous teachers, after years of hard study on the theory of painting and calligraphy, he copied fine paintings and learned from others, and achieved an indispensable artistic generalist who can write good paintings in contemporary times.
In pursuit of art, Yang Jincai has been painting for decades, and his meticulous brushwork of freehand brushwork in traditional Chinese painting is fluent, and his lifting, fishing, coloring, pointing, splashing, restraining, raising, catching and frustrating have all been refined to the extreme.
In calligraphy, the regular script of Europe, Liu and Zhao is the rib, and the essence of the Northern Wei Dynasty is the bone. After decades of mastery and tempering, it has now created its own unique four-in-one "knife-cutting" regular script style, which is vigorous, straight, vigorous and strong, and conveys a vigorous, heroic and majestic character.
On painting, Yang Jincai was accepted as a closed disciple by the 20th generation "White Tiger Hall" Painting Academy inherited by the Ming Dynasty, and was carefully cultivated. Now he is awarded the honor of dean of the college. He carefully studied the famous tiger painters in ancient times, such as the mural "Hunting the Map" of the tomb in Luoyang, Western Han Dynasty, and the image of "White Tiger" painted was enthusiastic and roaring, with smooth lines, cadence and boldness; In Li Yishan's "Six Statues" tiger paintings in the Tang Dynasty, meticulous techniques have appeared. Historically, Gui Bao and Bao Ding were recognized as masters of tiger painting in Song Dynasty. Zhou, Dai Jin and Ding Yun in Yuan Dynasty were recognized as famous tiger painters at that time. Yang Jincai took these ancient tiger painters as the established goal, studied hard and learned the true meaning of tiger painting, and was later accepted as a disciple by Mr. Liang Shunian, a master of landscape painting in China.
Yang Jincai's calligraphy, meticulous tiger painting "Five Tigers", "Hundred Tigers", small freehand figure "White Dragon Map" and landscape freehand painting "Waterfall" won 1996 and 1998 gold medals in 2003 and 2007 respectively.
In the face of honor, Yang Jincai always used Xu Beihong's famous words to warn himself, such as "those who preach the ancient law will keep it, those who don't follow the ancient law will not change, those who don't grow will not grow long, and western paintings can absorb and integrate."
On the bumpy road of the long life of "painting and calligraphy", Yang Jin, who was never satisfied with his artistic mentality, went to China to learn and communicate, skillfully integrated western painting techniques with French traditional techniques, reached the peak of his artistic accomplishment and innovation, and created a unique China artistic technique of "knife and pen in one". His landscape paintings, figure paintings and oil paintings are all vivid. Today, Yang Jincai's unique Chinese calligraphy and painting works, such as "knife and pen in one" and "three hanging calligraphy", have been praised by peers and loved and collected by people from all walks of life. Up to now, many works have been collected by friends in Japan, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao, France, Thailand and other places.
