Walking is walking, which refers to the state that the tiger is expressionless, that is to say, people must be natural and unrestrained and unpretentious in order to soar. Therefore, only when a gentleman is good at hiding his wisdom and talents can he shoulder the heavy responsibility and realize his ambition.
From: Hong Yingming's famous Caigen Tan in Ming Dynasty.
Interpretation: the eagle stands like a sleep, and the tiger walks like a disease, which is exactly where he catches people and eats people. Therefore, a gentleman should be smart and not show off his talents, so that he can have the strength to shoulder his responsibilities. The eagle and the tiger are the two fiercest animals. Once they start hunting, they rarely return empty-handed. Interestingly, before preparing to prey, the eagle stood there as if it were taking a nap, while the tiger seemed to be sick when walking-this was actually just a cover-up for their deliberate weakness, which could avoid being attacked because they were too sharp and paralyze their opponents. Therefore, only when a gentleman is good at hiding his wisdom and talents can he shoulder the heavy responsibility and realize his ambition.
