For Mohists, faith means firmly practicing the values ??advocated by Mozi and having the courage to assume social responsibility. Mozi believes that universal love is an absolute moral law from heaven, "Heaven wants people to love and benefit each other," so "we must respect heaven and do things to ghosts, love people and use them sparingly, and we know what is compatible." Mohism is not a religion, but it has its own beliefs. , fear heaven and ghosts and love the world. The purpose of Mohism's theory of heaven and ghosts is to cultivate people's awe. As long as you have reverence, you will not do anything wrong; if you don't have reverence, you will do whatever you want. The Mohists believe that "Although there are deep streams and dense forests, and secluded streams are uninhabited, we must not neglect them when we see ghosts and gods watching them." Fear the laws of heaven and fear your own conscience. Arthur said that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. This kind of fear is not the kind of fear that suppresses sin, but refers to another kind of fear, that is, the rapid rise itself contains the seeds of disaster-the higher you climb, the harder you fall! Therefore, it is precisely because the Mohists have such faith and reverence that in historical records, the Mohists are the only ones without any stain. Like a star that never disappears in the dark night, it shines on the historical process of thousands of years. Faith is by no means a verbal oath, nor is it the majesty and glory of some kind of ceremony. Rather, we must truly "carry our faith into action". The most basic form of abandoning faith is to be inconsistent with what we say, so Mozi said, "What the mouth says must be done by the body."

Son, this is what people keep privately. Forbearing what is private in order to do great justice, a great man can be said to be impartial.

It is better to be a tail in the mud than to be a prisoner in a cage, so freedom is opposed to the control of power. Freedom is the liberation of the soul. If you take things for granted and don’t take things for granted, you will get everything and get tired of things. If the mind is not free, the vastness of the world is also a prison; if the mind is free, even in a small room, it can travel thousands of miles freely. Therefore, if you lose your independent personality, you will also lose your freedom. Firm beliefs, independent personality, moral self-discipline, a conscious sense of social responsibility and mission, and the courage to act without hesitation are the actions of a truly confident person.
