Gu Yanwu was born in a rural official, studied since childhood, and took part in the activities of restoring the society at the age of fourteen. Fu She is an innovative society, and most of its members are patriotic intellectuals. When the Qing soldiers went south, Gu Yanwu took part in the anti-Qing struggle, and together with Yang Yongyan, a magistrate of Kunshan, he was holed up in Kunshan. When the city was broken, Gu Yanwu's two younger brothers were killed by Qing soldiers, and his stepmother Wang also committed suicide by hunger strike.
After that, Gu Yanwu secretly moved as a businessman and contacted the anti-Qing forces. After being chased by the government, he fled Jiangnan and went to Shandong. Adhere to the anti-Qing dynasty in the north for more than twenty years.
After 5 years old, Gu Yanwu wrote The Record of Japanese Knowledge. He said in the book: "Even an ordinary person should be responsible for the rise and fall of the country." Until his death at the age of 69, he always adhered to national integrity.
