On an 80-meter-high hill northwest of the five thatched houses at the uprising site, the Tianfushan Uprising Memorial Tower stands majestically, with its breath flowing through the rainbow. The tower is 12 to 24 meters high and made of granite and marble. It was built in 1973. "Tianfushan Uprising Memorial Tower" is inscribed by Guo Moruo. The eight characters "A single spark can start a prairie fire" imitating Mao Zedong's handwriting are engraved on the positive side of the tower.

The heroes and martyrs are immortal and the monuments remain forever. Comrade Li Qi led his troops to march west from Tianfu Mountain and was invincible along the way. Unfortunately, he sacrificed his life for the country in the attack on Muping Lei Temple, and many of his subordinates also died. Lin Yishan, one of the main organizational leaders of the Tianfushan Uprising, went on to fight in the north and south, going through life and death, and made outstanding military exploits. After liberation, he became one of the main founders of New China's water conservancy project and Yangtze River Basin planning, including the Gezhouba and Three Gorges Projects. Liu Zhonghua, Zhang Yuhua, Liu Han, Zhang Xuzhi, etc., the backbone of the Tianfushan Uprising, all became generals of our army and held important positions in the army after liberation. On August 26, 1962, Guo Moruo visited the birthplace of the Tianfu Mountain Uprising in person, and was inspired to write a poem:

The Tianfu heroes are chess players who devote themselves to the revolutionary country and forget their own interests.

Back then, the Thunder Temple was violently attacked, but today the Star Flag is raised high.

Thousands of generations of east winds blow across the sea and land, and one side turns into rain to worship the master.
