Zhu Kezhen is a meteorologist, geographer and educator. Founder of modern geography and meteorology in China. He led the establishment of the first meteorological research institute and the first batch of meteorological stations in China, and made pioneering research in typhoon, monsoon, climate change, agricultural climate, phenology and natural division. The first geography department in China was established, which became the cradle for training geoscientists at that time.
