Claude simon is a representative writer of the French New Fiction School, known as the "father of the new novel", his masterpiece and famous work "Flanders Expressway".

Claude simon's novels include Liar, Wire Rope and Wind and Grass. Among these novels, The Wind, Grass and other works adopt unique sentence rhythm and limited narrative perspective, which indicates that Simon's writing style has been formed. In 1960s, Simon's creation entered the second stage. During this period, he joined the new novel camp Midnight Publishing House, and gathered a group of experimental writers such as sallot, Bhutto, Rob Geyer and Bangor.
