Success comes from hard work
Success is easy to say but difficult to achieve. Han Yu, a litterateur in the Tang Dynasty, said: "The best in work is due to diligence but is destroyed by play." Facts have repeatedly proved that anyone can do anything without diligence, and diligence is the boat to success.
Diligence can make up for weakness. Legend has it that Zhu Xi, a scholar from the Song Dynasty, told a story: There was a man named Chen Zhengzhi in Fuzhou who was very slow to read. He could only read 50 words at a time, and it took him five or six times to read a short article before he could master it. In order to overcome his shortcomings, he was not lazy and studied hard. He read it three times and four times when others read it once. As time went by, his knowledge increased day by day. Later, he not only overcame his shortcoming of slow reaction, but also became a learned man. When Mei Lanfang was young, he went to study opera with a teacher. The master said that he had a pair of dead fish eyes, which were gray and dull, and that he was not suitable for studying opera at all, so he refused to take him in. His lack of talent did not discourage him, but made him more diligent. He fed the pigeons and looked up at the sky every day, his eyes following the flying pigeons in pursuit; he raised goldfish and looked down at the bottom of the water every day, his eyes following the swimming goldfish. , looking for traces and shadows. Later, Mei Lanfang's eyes became like a clear pool of autumn water, sparkling and full of emotion, and she finally became a famous Peking Opera master.
Professor Hua Luogeng said, "Diligence can make up for one's weakness, which is a good lesson. Every minute of hard work equals talent." No matter how talented you are, as long as you work hard, you will definitely succeed.
Work diligently to produce results. Tan Qian, a historian of the Ming Dynasty, began writing Guoyan when he was 29 years old. Because my family was poor and couldn't afford reference books, I had to ask people everywhere to borrow books to copy. Once, in order to read some information, I walked more than 100 miles in the rain with dry food. He struggled for 27 years, revised his manuscript six times, and finally wrote "Guoyan", an important history book of 5 million words. He was 56 years old at this time. Unfortunately, the manuscript was stolen by a thief. Tan Qian was so sad that he burst into tears. Many people thought that he would never recover, but unexpectedly he started writing again the next day. Winter turned to spring, and the cycle began again. It took 10 years to finally write the book again. By this time he was gray-haired and very old. From Tan Qian's deeds, we can draw the conclusion that as long as you work hard, you can bring a successful conclusion to everything you do.
Diligence is the ladder to success, and success is the result of diligence. As long as we study diligently, explore diligently, and practice diligently, everything will be successful!
