There are two important concepts in the book:
1. What is the Fogg Behavior Model?
Simply put, it is a set of formulas:
B = map.
B (behavior) stands for "behavior".
M (motivation) stands for "motivation", A (ability) stands for "ability" and P (prompt) stands for "prompt".
In other words, when three elements appear at the same time, behavior will happen.
1. The stronger the motivation, the more likely the behavior is.
The easier it is to act, the easier it is to become a habit.
3. Motivation and ability should be closely coordinated as teammates.
If one of them is weak, then the other needs to be strong to push the action and let the behavior fall above the action line.
For most behaviors, repetition is easier to do.
Nothing will happen without a hint.
Eliminating hints is the best first step to prevent behavior, but it is not always so easy.
It is really the easiest to design behavior from the prompt.
2. The key to behavioral habits: ABC Trilogy

Celebrate
1. Anchoring torque
Remind you of the critical moment to perform new micro-behaviors. Such as a daily habit (brushing your teeth) or an inevitable thing (the phone rings).
2. New micro-behaviors
Micro-behavior executed immediately after the anchor point appears. This is a simplified version of new habits, such as flossing or doing two push-ups.
Celebrate immediately
Celebrate the new micro-behavior as soon as it is completed. Everything can bring positive emotions, such as "I am great".
