Where does the phrase "marriage is the grave of love" come from?
Marriage is the Grave of Love is a by-product of an extramarital affair when Casanova was roaming in London in 1763. The Chinese version of My Life has no complete translation. In 2006, Beijing Yanshan Publishing House published Chinese excerpts translated from German by higher people. This excerpt is pollution-free, and deals with the sexually explicit descriptions in the original. At the same time, the chapters of the book are rearranged, and the huge volume of Emperor 12 with nearly 4,000 pages of 2.5 million words is compressed into 63 chapters with more than 400 pages of 500,000 words. "Marriage is the grave of love" comes from chapter 56 of this Chinese excerpt.
