Hello, everyone. It is a great honor to stand on this podium and participate in the election of the presidium of the student union. First of all, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Xiao Jie from Class 8, Grade 1, and I'm also a member of the Student Union. I come from the presidium. Today, I want to run for the post of Secretary-General. The accumulation of previous work experience and ability makes me feel that I have the ability to shoulder this heavy responsibility, to mediate the relationship between departments, to organize the activities of the student union and to enrich the lives of my classmates.

In the past year, I served as a class cadre in my class and actively served as an officer in the student union. I hope to accumulate and improve my knowledge and ability in all aspects by serving the class and the whole school. Now, I am constantly looking for my shortcomings in my work, hoping to better serve my classmates and teachers.

I know everyone here is an elite. Of course, I am also trying to be an elite in your eyes. Perhaps, many people will doubt; What made you run for the post of Secretary-General? Yeah, why? I asked myself. Today, on this stage, I will tell myself and everyone here loudly. I think I have experience, confidence, enthusiasm and seriousness.

In the days to come, I hope teachers and classmates can give me another chance to exercise and stay in the student union next time. If I can stay in the secretariat, I hope that the secretariat's next work will focus on rectifying the secretariat, and I hope that the secretariat will be more disciplined and organized. Secondly, I will pay more attention to the details in the daily work of the secretariat. At the same time, I will also pay attention to the efficiency of the secretariat's daily work, and I will never let every work be delayed or postponed.
