In 1985, Studio Ghibli was founded and began to make the "City of the Sky". The background was 19th-century Europe with industrial revolution. sheeta, a lovely and pure little girl, accompanied by pazu, a kind and brave boy, searched for her lost hometown. At the end of her journey, she finally understood that no matter the progress of science and technology or the development of human beings. The theme of man and nature is further embodied here, and the ultimate destruction of La Plata, a great city floating in the air, seems to warn the world that in the century of machinery and steel, it is actually facing an uncertain future.

The City in the Sky, which was released in p>1986, is GHIBLI's pioneering work. Miyazaki Hayao has four important tasks: original work, supervision, script and role setting, which makes this work infused with pure Miyazaki ideas from beginning to end. Miyazaki Hayao's music partner, Joe Hisaishi, also reached the peak of his music career this time.
