After two weeks of hard work, our course design is finally completed. In this course In design, I learned not only professional knowledge, but also how to cooperate in a team, because any work cannot be completed by a single person. It must be a small part of the team members' detailed division of labor, and then After tightly combining all the parts and carefully debugging the movement relationship between them, a perfect work is formed.
Due to the lack of theoretical knowledge and lack of design experience in this course design, I was a little confused at the beginning and didn’t know where to start. During the design process, I learned a lot of knowledge by consulting a large amount of relevant information, exchanging experiences with classmates, self-study, and asking teachers for advice. I also experienced a lot of hardships, but the gains were equally huge. Throughout the design, I learned a lot and built up confidence in my work ability. I believe it will have a very important impact on my future study, work and life. And it greatly improved my hands-on ability, which enabled me to fully appreciate the difficulty of exploring in the creation process and the joy of success. Although this design may not be very good, what I learned in the design process is the basis of this course design. The greatest harvest and wealth have benefited me throughout my life.
This course design has also made our relationship with classmates a step further. The classmates help each other, discuss what we don’t understand together, and listen to different opinions to better understand us. Knowledge, so I am very grateful to my classmates who helped me. In this process of mutual coordination and cooperation, verbal struggles are inevitable. The key is how we deal with the differences we encounter, instead of just caring and complaining. This is not only in coordination like this, but also in life. Many things require us to have this kind of handling ability. When facing differences, we must eliminate misunderstandings, understand each other, enhance understanding, and reach understanding. Maybe many problems are not as complicated as imagined. The key lies in our mentality and the way we handle them. and a mentality of resolving differences because we all have the same starting point.
After this course design, we learned a lot of things that are not in the textbooks. It will be of great help to our future life and work. Therefore, this course design is not only about sweat and hardship. , what’s more, is the sweetness after bitterness.

After four weeks of intense and hard work on course design, I looked at my design. I am happy and worried at the same time. I am happy that my design is finally completed, but I am worried that my design has many shortcomings.
Curriculum design is practical training for the comprehensive application of our professional curriculum knowledge. It is a necessary process before we enter the society and engage in professional work. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Through this course design , I deeply understand the true meaning of this ancient saying. Today I carefully design the course and learn to take this step down-to-earth, which is to lay a solid foundation for me to run steadily in the social tide tomorrow.
Our course design topic is: Designing the transmission of the belt conveyor
Device (as shown in the picture on the right) The working life is 10 years The working environment is full of dust The circular force of the roller F is 1500 N Belt speed v The diameter of the drum is 1.6 meters per second. The diameter of the drum is 250 mm. The length of the drum is 600 mm.
In this course design, we divided it into 8 stages:
1. Design Preparatory work 2. Overall design 3. Design calculation of transmission parts 4. Drawing of assembly drawing sketch 5. Drawing of assembly drawing 6. Drawing of parts working drawing 7. Writing design instructions 8. Defense
First I encountered a lot of trouble during the calculation process for a few weeks. First of all, during the selection process of the motor, after calculating some data that should be calculated, I didn’t know how to choose the type of motor. Although it was later in the textbook There were tables and some parameters of various motors attached but I still made the wrong choice and had to make a new choice.
When selecting a motor, we should consider the price, power and transmission ratio used in the design, and pay special attention to the feasibility and economic cost of the solution. In the process of assigning the transmission ratio, I assigned it very unreasonably at first and divided the transmission ratio of the reducer into 4. In the end, I encountered a lot of trouble in calculating the gears. Had to start from scratch and redistribute. When we redistribute the transmission ratio, we should take into account the subsequent gear calculation to make the graduation circle diameter of the gear reasonable.
After selecting the motor and transmission ratio, we begin to enter the focus of our course design: transmission design calculation. At the beginning, I didn’t know where to start. With the enthusiastic explanation and guidance of Teacher Yang and Teacher Zhang, I understood the algorithm and selection of gears in transmission design. When selecting the gear type, accuracy level, material and number of teeth, we must gradually and carefully follow the calculation ideas in the book. In particular, the selection and calculation of some data must be reasonable. When the gear type, accuracy level, material and number of teeth are selected, they are designed according to the tooth surface contact strength and calculated according to the tooth root bending strength. Finally, the graduation circle diameter and the number of gear teeth are determined by comparing the two calculations.
The last difficulty in this design was the design of the shaft. Under the careful guidance of the two teachers, I adopted the method of drawing and calculating. After determining the low-speed and high-speed shafts, I then carried out the design separately. Calibration, in this link, I think the calibration of the axis is a difficult point. Because I did not learn the mechanics of materials well, I encountered trouble in the calculation. This also fully reflects the coherence and comprehensiveness of the knowledge. Problems in any aspect of daily study will bring great trouble to future studies.
I started drawing after the calculations. Since I learned drawing when I was a freshman, and also learned computer drawing, it was very difficult to draw by hand, and I forgot a lot of drawing knowledge. I also had to review and review with the textbook, which wasted a lot of time. Through this course design, I understand more clearly that every subject we learn is very important, and we must learn it hard and learn it hard. In the process of drawing, we should be careful and pay special attention not to have too many lines or too few lines. At the same time, we should also pay attention to the cleanliness of the drawing. Only in this way can we make good drawings.
To be honest, course design is really a bit tiring. However, when I started to clean up my design results and reflected on the mental journey of these three weeks, a rare joy of success immediately made me tired. Although this is the first step I have just learned to walk, and it is also a small victory in life, it makes me feel a lot more mature, and I have insights that I didn’t know about in Spring Sleep in No. 1 Middle School. Through curriculum design, It made me deeply realize that I must be patient and meticulous in everything I do. During the course design process, many calculations sometimes made me feel a little upset: twice, I made mistakes in my calculations because I accidentally made them, and I could only repeat them without feeling. Come. But when I think of Professor Zhou Weiping and Chief Inspector Huang Wenwei’s patient teachings to us, of the social responsibilities that I should bear in the future, and of the shocking accidents that have occurred in the world due to some small mistakes, I can’t help but think of them all the time. Remind yourself that you must develop a good habit of being highly responsible and taking it seriously. This course design gave me a rare training in my work style. In just three weeks, the course design made me discover what I want to do. The knowledge I have mastered is really lacking, and my ability to comprehensively apply the professional knowledge I have learned is so insufficient. I have studied so many courses in the past few years, but today I realized that I don’t know how to use them. Thinking of this, I am really anxious. , but the teacher said to me, this shows that the course design has indeed made me gain something. The teacher's kindness encouraged my confidence and made me more confident.
Finally, I would like to thank my teachers, It was your severe criticism that woke me up, it was your professionalism that moved me, it was your teachings that inspired me, it was your expectations that encouraged me, I thank you, teacher, for adding another pair of strong wings to me today. Today I am proud of you, and you will be proud of me tomorrow

The mechanical course design is coming to an end. After two weeks of hard work, our course design is finally completed. The course design is our Practical training in the comprehensive application of professional course knowledge is an essential process before we enter society and engage in professional work. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Through this course design, I deeply understand the true meaning of this ancient saying. Meaning. We are seriously designing the curriculum today and learning to take this step down-to-earth to lay a solid foundation for running steadily in the social tide tomorrow.
To be honest, curriculum design is really a bit tiring. However, when I started sorting out my design results and reflected on the mental journey of the past two weeks, a rare joy of success immediately made my tiredness disappear.
Perhaps many people think that the two-week course design process The time is very long, but we don't feel the abundance of time at all. These days, we leave early and come back late every day. Except for eating in the dormitory and canteen, we spend the rest of the time at the base doing course planning. The general arrangement of these two weeks is to select the topic, background investigation, demand analysis and conceptual design in the first week. During this process, we collected information online, selected the direction, and proposed a preliminary plan. After several iterations, After revision and discussion, we basically determined the topic and implementation principle. The second week's task focused on detailed design. At this stage, our division of labor was clear and orderly. Since Huang Yanxin and I had some modeling foundation, we were responsible for modeling and animation, while Peng Hao was responsible for organizing documents, pictures and instructions. I think this was my most fulfilling few days. After the conceptual design, we all thought we had a deep understanding of the plan. However, when it came to the details, we underestimated the difficulty. The size and positioning of each part needed to be determined. A screw, a bearing, and a circlip all have to be assembled. I have never realized that assembly can be so technical. After four days of hard work, Huang Yanxin and I completed this task very well. I think the most painful period was during this period. It’s not me, but my notebook that crashes almost every time. In the end, there are more than a hundred parts and more than three hundred assembly constraints in the assembly. As long as one size is modified, the positions of many parts must be driven. In the end, there was really no way to do the animation, so we had to delete some structural features such as fillets, push tool grooves, ribs, and even some screws, nuts and circlips that did not affect the constraints. Even so, the animation took nearly eight hours to render.
During this period, I was painful and entangled, depressed and hesitant, but only through experience can I learn knowledge. There are many types of mechanisms we use, which gave me a new understanding of the theoretical knowledge of mechanical principles. The number of grooves in a sheave. The selection of the dial pin, the profile design of the cam and the analysis and optimization of the motion performance, the selection of the module teeth of the gear and the calculation of the displacement coefficient, the application of the snapback characteristics in the crank slider and the design of the rod length , every point of this must be guided by theory. For example, I never really understood why the displacement gear is important before. Isn’t the central moment well-designed? Why do you have to make up? Only by designing things yourself can you know this. The reason is that I really realize the importance of learning mechanical principles.
Another point I gained may be my understanding of design methods and CAD. I have learned some CAD software before, and I have also done some modeling and software testing projects with teachers, but it is really like this This is the first time that I have used CAD software to express my design ideas in detail. What is the most important thing in CAD drawing? Everyone may understand this question differently, but in my opinion, the most important thing is Always remember the purpose of using CAD drawings. When we do engineering design, no matter what major or stage, whether it is three-dimensional or two-dimensional, we actually need to express and reflect certain design ideas or design content into the design documents. Pictures are an intuitive, accurate, eye-catching, and easy-to-communicate form of expression. Therefore, the things we complete (whether it is the final design document or the process document submitted as a condition to other majors) must be able to well help us express our own design ideas and design content. With this premise, we should Understand that good computer modeling should have the following two characteristics: clarity and accuracy.
Due to some previous experiences, this time I did not follow the traditional design of parts, then assembly, inspection, and motion simulation. Instead, I tried a familiar but never-practiced design method: top-down design. This is a step-by-step design process and method that decomposes the required plan and defines each module and mechanism. The unsolved problems are put as a sub-task to be solved at the next level. In this way, we define, design and debug layer by layer. When designing according to the top-down method, we must first design the system. Have a comprehensive understanding. Then start from the top level, that is, from the assembly, and continuously decompose it layer by layer, to sub-assemblies, and finally to the parameters and positioning of each part and the selection of standard parts. In this way, the design speed is obvious It will speed up (this is also an important reason why we can complete the modeling in such a short time), and each module is independent of each other and has low coupling. In the end, there will be no problems such as motion conflicts or interference between the modules.
Although this is the first step I have just learned to take, and it is also a small victory in life, it makes me feel a lot more mature, and it also gives me an understanding that I didn’t know I had in spring sleep. Through the course design, I deeply realized that I must be patient and meticulous in everything I do. It also made me realize the joy of cooperation and win-win.
That’s all I have learned. In short, no matter what. It is indeed more difficult for those who have learned it and those who cannot learn it. It is really difficult at the beginning. I don’t know how to start. I feel relieved when I finally finish it. In addition, I also come to the conclusion: knowledge must be applied to realize its value! There are some things that I think I have learned, but it is completely different when I actually use them. So I think you can only really learn them when you can actually use them!
