J.K. Rowling, 34 years old. Rowling likes writing and telling stories since she was a child. At the age of 24, during her train trip to London, a thin dark-haired wizard with glasses kept smiling at her outside the window. Seven years later, Rowling pushed the story of the boy named Harry Potter to the world, and Harry Potter became a fairy tale character that swept the world.
As a single mother, Rowling's mother and daughter have a very hard life. When Rowling started writing Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, the first children's novel series, because her house was small and cold, she often went to the cafe near her home to write the story of Harry Potter on small pieces of paper. However, her efforts soon paid off. As soon as the novel was published, it attracted much attention, received rave reviews and won numerous awards, including the British National Children's Novel Book Award and the Smart Book Gold Award. Later, Rowling created Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in 1998 and 1999 respectively, which further sensationalized the world. In July 2000, with the publication of the fourth Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the worldwide enthusiasm for Harry Potter continued to heat up, creating a myth in the history of publishing. It is reported that there will be three more works in Ms Rowling's "Harry Potter" series.
Ms Rowling and her daughter live in Edinburgh.
