"Dongting is the world's water and Yueyang is the world's building", which is a couplet written on the gate of Yueyang Tower Scenic Area. It is the first two sentences of Wei Yunzhen's poem Yueyang Tower in Ming Dynasty. It is used as a door to welcome guests and has a wonderful voice. This couplet is magnificent, which highly summarizes the characteristics of Yueyang Tower scenic spot, which is one water and one world on the first floor. There is also a couplet on the gate: "Whoever has no intention to enjoy summer music in front of him is the best in the world." This couplet, written by Yang Yiqing in the Ming Dynasty, shows the author's ideal ambition to imitate Fan Zhongyan's Summer Music. It is born from the magnificent scenery in front of him, and it can be described as touching the scene and blending the scene.
There is a long couplet on the first floor of the main building of Yueyang Tower, which was made by Xu Du in Tongzhi period of Qing Dynasty: "What's so strange about the first floor?" Du Shaoling's five-character swan song, Fan's two words care about love, Teng's everything is in full swing, and Lv Chunyang is drunk after three customs. Poetry? Ruye? Official? Ye Xian? Where were those lost times before me? , make me cry! Gentlemen, try it. Xiaoxiang in the south pole of Dongting Lake, Wuxia in the north of the Yangtze River, refreshing in Baling Mountain, and precipice in the east of Yuezhou City. People who hoard, move, stand upright and stifle have real meaning. Who can understand it? " This couplet has eleven short sentences and fifty words, but it is neatly and skillfully answered, with profound cultural connotation and historical background, excellent literary talent and tireless reading. The first part lists the poem "Climbing Yueyang Tower" by Du Fu, the famous sayings of "worry" and "joy" in Fan Zhongyan's "The Story of Yueyang Tower", Teng's political achievements, and the myth and legend of Lv Chunyang's "three drunkenness", and then gives a sentence: "Before me, where were those lost years? Behind me, where are the future generations? I think of heaven and earth, there is no limit, there is no end, I am alone, and my tears fall down. In the second part, I cited Baling's victory with a model essay, and then I couldn't help asking myself, "There is real significance in this. Who can understand it? " This sentence makes readers think deeply. What is the "true meaning"? Of course, it is the ambition of a patriotic intelligence country. In addition, a couplet inscribed by Chen Dagang, the magistrate of Baling County, Jiaqing County, in the Qing Dynasty, "All the lakes and mountains around are in the eye, and every family is worried and happy" is also concise, expressing parents' feelings of caring for the sufferings of the people.
On the second floor of the main building, a couplet rewritten by Zheng Jia, an academician at the end of the Qing Dynasty, seems to be negative, but in fact it is sad and angry: "The lake view is still the same, who is drunk and only drinks despite chaos; The past is the past! When I was worried, I collapsed and went upstairs. " According to the data, this couplet was written in 1933, when the Japanese invaders invaded China on a large scale, the country was in peril, the government was corrupt and incompetent, and the people lived in poverty. Facing the Dongting Lake in front of us, the author thinks that the mountains and rivers of the motherland have been ravaged by the Japanese invaders, and he has to live in troubled times, so he can only ignore everything, just like Lv Dongbin who is drunk and never wakes up. But the reality is inescapable. I hope that a wise man like Fan Zhongyan can reorganize the mountains and rivers and save the peril, but the old man (Fan Zhongyan) is gone forever, and when he looks upstairs, he is devastated and heartbroken. His patriotic feelings of grief and indignation are vividly on the paper. 1944 When the Japanese invaded Changsha, the author refused to be a traitor and called him a thief when he died. The author is indeed a patriot who is consistent in words and deeds and has national integrity. His character and style of writing are commendable.
On the third floor of the main building, there is a couplet written by Li Bai, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty: "Water and sky are the same color, and the wind and moon are boundless." A few words can sum up the myriad weather of Dongting Lake. Only from this couplet can we get a glimpse of the bold and unconstrained poets. On the third floor, there is the inscription "Du Ji is a terrace of mountains and lakes * * *" written by the ecliptic in the Qing Dynasty, which naturally and smoothly blends the natural scenery of Dongting Lake and Yueyang Tower with the humanistic landscape of Du Shi's "Climbing Yueyang Tower" and Fan Wen's "Yueyang Tower". However, the author believes that if the word "Gao" is replaced by the word "Chuan", it will be more neat. Maybe the author has other intentions.
There is a couplet on the archway of Yueyang Tower, which was written by Zhang Zhao, a minister in the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty: "A thousand miles of Xiaoxiang, Chung Shan Man in Antarctica, and Wuxia in the north." Although this couplet only adds three words after the two sentences of the model essay, it has reached a superb level.
Sanzui Pavilion is taken from the myths and legends of Lv Dongbin Sanzui Yueyang Tower. There is a couplet in the Qing Dynasty on the pavilion: "The moon is clear and colorful; Poetry and wine are nobody. " So detached and carefree, the feeling of reading is like a fairy.
The couplet on Huaifu Pavilion was written by Wu, a contemporary calligrapher: "The boat is a Dongting, and there are tears left;" The soul returns to Luoshui, and there is no poem in the world. " This couplet hung in the pavilion reminds tourists of the poet's sentimental feelings in the age of saints, which is perfect.
From most of the couplets in Yueyang Tower, we can see that they are all inspired by Fan Wen and Du Fu's poems, which shows that Fan Wen and Du Fu's poems are really immortal, which is not only the pride of Fan Wen and Du Fu, but also the pride of our Chinese nation.
