The method of observing the sun by cadres and branches is a method that Han people use heavenly stems and earthly branches to record the date sequence. It is a part of the lunar calendar and an important part of the almanac of past dynasties. The trunk branch is the collective name of "Tiangan" (A, B, D, D, E, G, N, N, D) and "Dizhi" (Zi Chou Yin Mao, Tatsumi, Shen You and Noon Xu Hai).
