In this great Chu-Han dispute caused by nobody, the Hongmen banquet has always been talked about. The reason why it is classic is that it has promoted many key plots for later generations, and many changes in later generations have inspired the whole body because of this banquet. In this banquet, Xiang Yu's uncle Xiang Bo stood by Liu Bang, but Cao Wushang, Liu Bang's general, tipped off Xiang Yu. I have to say, the plot is too comedy.
Cao Wushang's informer behavior in history books is like an extra actor who just entered the lunch box, and even Sima Qian didn't remember it in detail. However, his appearance changed the agreement greatly: "The one who entered the customs first became, so Liu chose to occupy Hangu Pass in the case of insanity."
Can Xiang Yu know that Liu Bang wants to be king? The original plot was that Liu Bang was killed at the Hongmen banquet, but it was this time that Xiang Yu completely lost the opportunity to kill Liu Bang, thus Wujiang regretted the world.
Why did Cao snitch? The informant's positive solution should be to take refuge in Xiang Yu. After all, Xiang Yu almost mastered the inside story at that time, but in fact, that force was amazing. In Cao's eyes, he felt that Xiang Yu had a better chance of winning. In Cao's vision, if he invests in the future, he definitely needs to gain something. If things are right, one can surrender and the other can end Liu Bang's life, thus avoiding the subsequent worries. However, although Xiang Yu is a humble warrior, it doesn't mean that he needs to take anything.
At the Hongmen banquet, Cao Wushang had only one story with a beginning and an end. From the beginning, it seemed that he tipped off the news and triggered the hongmen banquet. In fact, Xiang Yu played along. At the Hongmen banquet, Liu Bang directly opened his mouth: "Your subordinate Cao told me that you should be king first and capture Hangu Pass?"
Liu bang was shocked, his heart was choppy, but his face was calm: "Brother Xiang, how could you kill him like this?"
Then things went on, and then Cao killed him. This ending, although only passed on by historical records, can be said to have two versions. The first one is that if Xiang Yu really accepts Cao Wushang and Liu Bang dies, maybe something will happen to Xiang Yu. If Xiang Yu does not die, how will the dispute between Chu and Han be guided?
The second original version, that is, Cao still became a nobody, lost in history, and finally achieved the Hongmen Banquet and Liu Bang.
On the other hand, however, Cao has no choice about his role in the hongmen banquet. Why do you say that? Liu Bang wants to be king, not to mention that Xiang Yu will get permission, even if other governors won't agree, but he seems to have voted for the wrong "written pledge to fulfill a military order" and shouldn't be with Xiang Yu.
