What is the difference between life before and after enlightenment? What will life be like after enlightenment? After enlightenment, heaven and earth will still be heaven and earth, the sun and moon will still be sun and moon, and I will still be human, but the connotation and taste of life will be different. Before enlightenment, "When I eat, I refuse to eat, thinking about all kinds of things; when I sleep, I refuse to sleep, and I care about everything." After enlightenment, "When I am hungry, I eat, and when I am sleepy, I sleep." Eat the same and sleep the same, free and easy. , willful and carefree; before enlightenment, it was always difficult and every step was difficult; after enlightenment, every day is a good day, and the road is open everywhere. The life after enlightenment is a life in which spirituality is more important than material. It is a life that breaks free from the ties of material desires and lives in the five desires of worldly labor, but is not polluted and pursues the supreme ideal world. Most people today only focus on cleaning the environment and showering the body, but ignore the purification of the soul. A bright and clean environment and a shiny and clean body can certainly make our lives more comfortable, but having a pure heart can give our lives a new and different look. With a pure heart, the filthy evil world is also a land of peace and happiness; without a pure heart, even if you are in the pure land of bliss, it is still filthy. Cleansing the body is important, but we must also learn from Zen Master Lanrong to save our limited life and engage in the urgent task of purifying the soul! In modern times, Master Hongyi was indifferent to material things and lived life as he pleased. A towel has been used for eighteen years and is in tatters; a piece of clothing has been worn for several years and has been mended again and again. Someone advised him: "Master, it's time to replace it with a new one." But he said: "It can still be worn, and it can still be used. You can wear it." When I was traveling and staying in a small hotel, it was messy, small, and full of bed bugs. Someone suggested: "Change a room! There are so many bed bugs." He said calmly. It doesn't matter, there are only a few." He usually only had a plate of dried radish as a side dish, and he ate it happily. Some people couldn't bear to say, "Master! It's too salty!" Master Hongyi said calmly and contentedly. The taste of salty." A person with enlightenment has already transcended things and is not bound by material abundance or lack. He does not feel poverty is bitter and wealth is not happy. He feels that this is good and that is good, just like Master Cihang. He said: "As long as you feel at ease, you will be good in the east, west, north and south. No matter whether your material is good or bad, your circumstances are good or bad, your spirit will be happy and peaceful." The life after enlightenment is a life in which wisdom focuses on emotion. It is the purification of private feelings and love, full of Live wisely. It sweeps away the delusion and reveals the prajna and emptiness of the Buddha's life. One day, Zen Master Danxia Tianran was placing orders in a Buddhist temple. It happened to be a cold winter. Zen Master Danxia picked up the wooden Buddha statue and lit a fire to warm his cold hands. The master looked at the incense lamp in the temple and exclaimed: "What are you doing? How can you burn Buddha statues?" The Zen master said, "I am burning relics!" Master Xiangdeng said, "Nonsense, there are no relics in the Buddha statues?" "Ah! Since there are no relics in the Buddha statues, why don't we burn them? "We ordinary people think it is treason and unethical to see burning Buddha statues, but after enlightenment, Zen Master Danxia filled the universe with the Dharma body of the Buddha with great wisdom and compassion, filling the infinite sand world. Buddha and all living beings are equal, and only enlightenment can be achieved The Tathagata of Self-Nature is the one who truly sees and respects the Buddha. Zen masters do not worship and respect Buddha statues like ordinary people in the world, but in their actions and actions, which are disrespectful and disrespectful, there is a true feeling of wisdom. The life after enlightenment is a life in which the public is more important than the individual; it is a life of great compassion in which the Bodhisattva "wishes all sentient beings to be freed from suffering, and does not seek happiness for himself"; it is an altruistic life in which "there are sentient beings who have not been saved, how can we escape by ourselves", serving all sentient beings. Give countless conveniences and guide all living beings to become bodhisattvas. Enlightenment is a transformation from a change in concepts to a change in life taste. What kind of life is it for Zen masters to have enlightenment? I put forward three points for your reference: (1) A natural life. A life of enlightenment is a life of freedom that eliminates all functions and allows one to let one's life flow freely. It is a life that transcends competition and calculation, and is absolutely pure and beautiful. "The mountains are high and the rivers are long, and the willows are green and the flowers are red; the sun makes them warm, and the wind makes them cool." The mountains, rivers, vegetation, and the earth's mountains and rivers all contain infinite Zen opportunities; the sun shines brightly, and the breeze blows all reveal the sounds of the Buddha's Dharma. Everything is natural. The expression of everything is full of innocence, purity and kindness. Even the simplest food has a natural and free state in the enlightened lives of Zen masters. Someone asked Zen Master Zhaozhou: "What is the intention of the Patriarch to come to the west?" The Zen Master replied: "Go and have tea!" The man asked again: "What is my original face before my parents gave birth to me?" The Zen Master replied: "Washing Bowl" Go! "What is the relationship between drinking tea, washing bowls, and meditating to achieve enlightenment? If we can taste the wonderful taste of Prajna from eating and drinking tea in our daily life, we can see our true colors and be in harmony with the hearts of the Buddhas of the three generations. The main idea of ??Buddhism is not to seek high places but to realize it in the "ordinary mind" that is straightforward, innocent, and natural. (2) A life of no dwelling. The life of enlightenment is absolutely a free and free life of no dwelling. It lives in the world of life and death, but is not tied down by the five desires; it lives in the world of nirvana, but does not delay. To the peace and happiness of Nirvana. It is as if the pure lotus emerged from the silt and is unsullied. It is rooted in the dirty real world and achieves a solemn and pure land. The life of enlightenment is a life of understanding ordinary emotions and being unencumbered. Living in the noisy world of mortals, always cherishing the renunciation of retreating from the world; living in a quiet waterside and under a mountain, constantly sending out salvation and benefiting the world with great compassionate wishes, just like flowing clouds and flowing water. Follow the circumstances and relax freely. The ancients described the monks who became enlightened as follows: "A bowl of food for thousands of families, a solitary monk traveling thousands of miles." "A few people are favored by others, and white clouds are on the head when asking for directions." It is really a kind of living without dwelling, truly gaining because of nothing, free and easy. Youyou’s middle-of-the-road life.
(3) The life of salvation. The life of enlightenment is a life of salvation that is absolutely compassionate but bears the suffering of all sentient beings. Most people think of being a monk to break through the world of mortals and live the life of an ancient Buddha. This is a pessimistic way of passively avoiding the world. In fact, being a monk is to break through the false illusions of the world, put aside the clever competition in the world, and actively pursue a more super-real life. To explore and let go is not to retreat and escape, but to bravely and actively engage in the journey of truth. Only when we can detect and see clearly can we truly lift things up and do them truly; only if we have a transcendent mind of understanding can we do compassionate deeds in this world. Zen Master Zhaozhou asked Zen Master Nanquan: "Where will you go in the future?" Nanquan replied: "The reincarnated person will be a water bull." This means that in the next life, he will be a cow and a horse for all living beings, so as to meet the needs of all living beings to maintain their physical bodies. And plow out a field of wisdom and blessings for all living beings. As the saying goes, "If you want to become Buddhas, dragons, and elephants, you must first become oxen and horses." This is the best explanation of the need to have compassion and enthusiasm for saving the world when learning the Bodhisattva Way. Zen Master Linji once planted trees on the mountain. His master, Zen Master Huangbo, saw it and asked him: "There are already so many trees on the mountain, why bother planting more trees?" Zen Master Linji replied: "Those big trees were planted by predecessors. , I will also plant some, and leave them as examples for future generations!" The Zen master's mind of not seeking self-interest and being a shade to the world is a manifestation of his noble and supreme salvation spirit. A Zen practitioner once told me: "Every day I look out the window and see the newspaper boy delivering the newspaper from door to door on his bicycle, no matter the wind, rain or frost, day after day. One day. There are so many joys, sorrows, successes and failures in that little newspaper, so that the whole family can enjoy the joy of reading new knowledge every day. I also want to send a small thing to everyone's heart. .... "Have you ever thought about: What kind of thing do you want to give to everyone's heart in this life? The state of enlightenment needs to be verified by oneself, and the life of enlightenment needs to be experienced by oneself. If you want to learn to swim, even if you have read all the swimming guide books and have all the knowledge about swimming, if you don't try it on the water, you will be a landlubber and will not succeed. I sincerely wish you all that in the sea of ??truth, everyone will be a swimmer with superb skills! (Text: Anonymous) About what is charity? From Chinese tradition, we can reflect on two questions: first, what standards are used to evaluate what charity is; second, what is the power behind charity? The core value in "The Analects" is the word "benevolence" of benevolence. This word appears 191 times. It is the core and the cornerstone of the core of Chinese Confucianism. The way to write the word ren is very simple. What is charity? Benevolence is a kind of interpersonal relationship. If a person wants to constitute benevolence, he must be related to others. What is an act of kindness? Confucius's students said to him, "Teacher, what if I can be a bona fide to the people and be able to help them all?" If I have a lot of money, I can help a lot of people. Each of us wants to settle down and establish our value in this world, and use such a heart to help others establish themselves. After we have established ourselves, the second step is to want to develop, and use a developed heart to help others become prosperous as well. That's it, push the things you like into other people's affairs, and do what you don't like others to do to you, and don't do it to others. It is enough to compare oneself to others and to compare oneself to others. This is the definition of benevolence. This concept has come to this day. What are the standards of charitable conduct? In our current era, we already have too prosperous material civilization. In the process of the rise of the wealthy class, they have shown a kind of "rich but not noble". Wealth is a number that can grow rapidly, but the quality of life is a commitment to society. There are many people who are rich but do not have this kind of dignity to share. Charity may not need a fiery attitude, an expensive financial figure, or a luxurious act. It needs a warmth close to body temperature, year after year, day after day. For example, the One Foundation proposes one yuan, one With the power of people, One Foundation volunteers spend a little time every month to do this. In fact, charity is such a concept. There was a great writer who was walking alone on the street on a cold winter night. At this time, an old beggar grabbed him and said to him: "I don't have any money. Can you give me some charity?" He touched all over his body, and he didn’t bring any money that day. He was so intolerable that he held the old beggar’s hand and said, “Brother, I’m really sorry, I didn’t bring any money today. "Then the old beggar's face suddenly brightened, and he said, "Brother, did you just call me brother? He said that was enough." I think this is what this person is saying. When speaking, he must be looking into the other person's eyes, and he must be apologetic and sincere in his heart, which means that an attitude in your heart will be revealed as an expression, and a smile is such an expression. , it can be said that smiling at others anytime and anywhere is also a kind of charity. Charity is a kind of giving that comes from the heart. When you give, you also receive. It is never a kind of charity, because you cannot think that the person receiving charity has no dignity because of poverty. Therefore, I think charity has a true meaning, which is equality and goodwill. No one should hold on to superiority. Heart. Some people say that when we give charity, why are some people not grateful or repaying it? I think charity is when you give from your heart, and receiving a smile is the greatest reward. (Author: Yu Dan) At dawn, Buddha entered the city. On the way, I saw a man worshiping to the east, south, west, north, and upward. Buddha asked him why he did this? The man said: "My name is Susheng, and I pray to the six directions every day. It is a habit passed down from my family.
It is said that if you do this, you will get happiness. "The Buddha also has six ways of paying homage." "The Buddha said kindly: "1. Be filial to your parents: Children should be filial, nurturing, and obedient to make their parents happy and comforted. 2. Respect teachers: Students should respect teachers and accept their guidance. 3. Wife: She is a good assistant. Husband and wife should respect and love each other. 4. Friends: Treat friends with honesty and mutual respect. 5. Monks: Treat monks with charity and respect. 6. Servants: Treat your servants leniently and don’t tire them too much. These six types of people are the central figures in our lives. If we get along with them reasonably, we will have a happy family and a happy life. What’s the use of just praying on Saturdays? "Shan Sheng was very happy and took refuge in the Buddha. (Article: Anonymous) Two years after graduating from college, because he could not find a job that suited him, he changed jobs several times and finally applied for a private company. Before applying, I learned that, This company is a large group company with more than a dozen subsidiaries. It is a very powerful company in the local area. After changing jobs several times, I chose this company because of its strength and good reputation. Development prospects. However, what I didn't expect was that after joining the company, the company assigned our new employees to general positions in various subsidiaries of the group. But I was even worse off than others. I was assigned to take charge of the Fujian branch of the group's stowage company, and served as the stowage branch manager with only a few soldiers. After receiving the call from the personnel department, I was very unconvinced and didn't understand why the boss would treat me like this. Top students from prestigious universities were assigned to lower-level positions. On impulse, I went to the boss to negotiate with him. Before I entered the boss's office, I was determined to make the most of it: If my impulsiveness caused the boss's dissatisfaction, it would be a big deal. If I leave, if the boss reassigns my job after negotiation, then I will stay. To my surprise, in the boss's office, after I explained my intention, the boss pondered for a moment and started discussing it with me. A question about gardening. He said: “I originally studied gardening. In the insect kingdom, there is a kind of pest called ‘Beetle’. The beetle larvae has to stay in the trees for a period of time before emerging, and during this time it will damage the trees, so rangers must find ways to catch it. It is not difficult to catch it, as long as you follow the direction in which it is walking, you can catch it. Because the beetle larvae walks very regularly in trees, its walking direction is from top to bottom through the body of the tree. In other words, if a branch has several insect eyes, based on the direction of its insect eyes, we can definitely conclude that it must be hidden in the bottom one. " At this point, the boss asked me: "Do you know why the beetle larvae go downwards? "I shook my head blankly, and the boss continued: "The reason why the beetle larvae walks downward is because it always feeds on the freshest wood. The adult beetle that emerges in this way is the most energetic and healthy. Extending the wisdom of beetle larvae to the workplace, we can draw this conclusion: the higher the level, the easier it is to destroy the innovative ability of talents, but this is not the case at the grassroots level. The actual operation at the grassroots level can make you grow into the best person. Employees with innovative abilities and the greatest potential for development. Of course, the reason why I place you new employees at the grassroots level is that I hope that you can get experience at the grassroots level and learn to try to go down like beetle larvae, and persist in going deeper until you have experienced yourself into a An 'adult insect' that can spread its wings and fly high, and be used by me..." I benefited a lot from the boss's words. In the days that followed, I happily accepted the job, and through my unremitting efforts, the work of the stowage company was improved. After the expiration of my one-year term, I was transferred back by my boss. Without any background or connections, I became the group marketing company manager with my own efforts. The first batch of new employees, like me, have developed the wings to take off at the grassroots level, and have transformed from "longhorn larvae" into "adults" galloping in the workplace, and each of them has become the backbone of the company. This incident made me. I have realized a truth, that is: when you are at the bottom of your career and can't find your own position at the top, you might as well endure the loneliness and go down. This step may lead to a higher level. Go wider and wider, and finally come out of your own world. Everyone has to go through the transformation from "longhorn larvae" to "adult insect". It depends on whether you have the courage to go down. (Article: Anonymous) We always live in our own feelings and are obsessed with the feelings of our own "heart". In fact, these feelings are the main reason why we experience pain, because when we use "my own feelings" to distinguish and judge everything, The distinction between "right" and "wrong", "love" and "hate", "right" and "wrong" will arise, and all kinds of troubles will arise. The mind is the source of all dharma. Creating happiness will lead to the feeling of happiness. ; If you create troubles, you will feel troubled; if you let go, you will feel at ease; if you don't let go, you will feel anxious! The so-called "let go" does not mean that we throw away our family, career, parents, and children, and not care about everything we encounter in life! People and things are like wood. Letting go means letting go of attachments; letting go of attachments; because if there is attachment in the heart, we will be trapped in it and think about it. "Money" is trapped in "money"; thinking of "love" is trapped in "love", and every thought in the heart is often "tied" by one's own feelings and thoughts.
If we always persist in these self-feelings and thoughts, it will often bring us a lot of pain and contradictions. The "Heart Sutra" says: "The mind has no worries. Therefore, there is no fear. Stay away from upside-down dreams and finally achieve Nirvana." How can we "have no worries"? It is to observe our own life with the "empty nature of dependent origin", understand that all dharmas have no inherent nature, and constantly train our hearts with the "double movement of tranquility and insight" to guide "emptiness" into our lives and let go of attachments. , don’t use the feeling of “self-righteousness” to distinguish. If our heart can be relaxed, tolerant, careless, careless, and not attached to any external phenomena, the heart will belong to ourselves calmly, and only then can we feel the clarity within ourselves. “When you eat, you eat; when you sleep, you eat. "When you sleep," realize the reality of your present at any time and anywhere, without recalling the past or dreaming about the future. This true feeling of the present is the true taste of life! A person who practices spiritual practice is first of all a person who understands life. There is no space or time limit to the cultivation of mind. It can be practiced in daily life at all times. When walking, standing, sitting, lying down and raising hands and feet, let go of your stubbornness, right and wrong, and careless ideas, and Every thought must be faced with oneself very positively. This is practice. To learn Buddhism, you must first learn to live a life of non-attachment! (Text: Anonymous) How can a person become enlightened? Enlightenment is like picking a lock. The lock can lock the door and prohibit you from entering or exiting. You must have a key to open the door lock. Otherwise, you will be banned from the house forever. So, where is this key? Right on your own and easy to find. How to find it? When you meditate, recite Buddha's name and recite mantras, you are looking for the key. When can we find it? It depends on your own level of practice. If you are diligent, you will find it soon. If you slack off, you will never find it, not only in this life, but also in the next life. The truth is very simple. There is also a lock in your heart, and this heart lock is ignorance, which can turn your pure and bright heart into a polluted and dark heart. When the realm comes, I don’t have the wisdom to distinguish between good and evil, so I do the wrong things. If you practice well, you will be able to destroy ignorance. With the help of the key, the lock of the heart is naturally opened, and after the light of wisdom appears, there will be no worries no matter what happens. What is ignorance? In short, it is darkness and nothing is understood. Because we don’t know our own truth, our hearts are locked up, so we can’t become enlightened. During the reign of Emperor Daizong of the Tang Dynasty, there was an eunuch named Yu Chaoen. He asked the imperial master: "What is ignorance?" ’ The imperial master said: ‘You look like a slave, how can you ask questions about Buddhism? ’ He was furious. The imperial master laughed and said, "This is ignorance." ’ As the saying goes, ‘No open fire can burn down the forest of merit’. Those who are able to become enlightened now have achieved success in this life by cultivating various good causes in the past. If you have not cultivated various good causes in the past, you will not be enlightened in this life. Want to become enlightened? You must practice in advance to have any hope of enlightenment. Shakyamuni Buddha, how could he become a Buddha in this life? Because he 'cultivates blessings and wisdom for three times, and has good fortune for a hundred kalpas'. He cultivated blessings and wisdom during the three great asamkhya kalpas, and cultivated the thirty-two signs and eighty kinds of good merits during the one hundred great kalpas. Therefore, he enlightened by seeing the stars at night under the bodhi tree. If he had not practiced before, he would not have become a Buddha in this life. (Text: Master Xuanhua) Accept yourself Being accepted does not mean that a person must have outstanding merits, achievements, or make the changes that others hope for. Self-acceptance is a human birthright. Just imagine, if a person does not accept himself and dares not face his own problems, how can he guide himself upward and how can he grow? It can be seen that self-acceptance is the prerequisite for a person's healthy growth. However, in life, there are actually people who do not accept themselves and often spend a lot of energy on self-denial and rejection, with a lot of dissatisfaction, disappointment, and even denial and rejection of themselves. As Ellis said: "A People often involuntarily have some self-denying thoughts and feelings and take some self-denying actions. It is very easy to do so, and there is no difficulty at all. "Being kind to oneself and being kind to life is originally a basic requirement of life, but it has become a necessity for humans. A rare quality, why is this? Most people believe that human fragility is reflected in the various hardships of life. People's acquired living environment is full of setbacks and misfortunes, so that people regard setbacks and disappointments as commonplace. However, people's uneasiness and self-denial do not mainly come from the frustration of the objective environment and being in an unfavorable environment, but fundamentally lie in people's own attitudes and cognitions. The essence is: people turn their goals and needs into demands and demands. In life, some people have an extremely harsh attitude towards themselves, always criticizing themselves, and their self-acceptance is also conditional. There is such a singer. Before he got close to music, because he especially liked singing and loved singing, he devoted himself to it and constantly experienced happy times while singing. Due to his outstanding efforts, he soon achieved some results in the field of singing. At this time, his mentality completely changed. He constantly insisted that he must become a great musician, a famous musician who will remain famous throughout the ages. home, otherwise his life will be in vain and the meaning of life will be lost at the same time. At this time, he fell into a dangerous emotion. He was constantly worried about himself. What if he failed to achieve anything? What if the song you sing is not liked by others? From then on, he no longer sang with the same free and unrestrained mood as before. Instead, he became very concerned about other people's evaluations of him, and was even more sensitive to adverse factors in the environment, which made him very distressed.
The singer is distressed because he tries to use success or failure to determine the meaning of his life. Another negative consequence that follows is that even if he succeeds and everything goes as he wishes, he still cannot escape the desperate situation of trouble. Because he cannot guarantee that he will continue to be outstanding and successful. It can be seen that the prerequisite for learning self-acceptance is to stop being demanding on yourself, stop being against yourself, and stop being dissatisfied and critical of yourself. No matter how many inappropriate things you think you have done or how many shortcomings you think you have, from now on, stop criticizing and blaming yourself, learn to stand on your own side and safeguard the dignity and value of your life. We must face our own shortcomings and allow ourselves to make mistakes, because no matter what we do wrong, we can choose to learn from it and never make similar mistakes again. We might as well treat our own weaknesses and mistakes with a constructive attitude and method. First of all, face our own weaknesses. It allows us to understand our own limitations and prevent us from being arrogant. At the same time, it also makes us know how to respect our strengths. secondly, face your own weaknesses, don’t spend time on self-blame and frustration, and concentrate on exploring your own strengths, so that you can avoid detours. We can give ourselves positive psychological hints like this: I may not be able to solve so many mathematical problems, and I may not remember all the foreign words, but I find that I have special abilities in handling affairs. ; My physics and chemistry may be poor, but I am good at writing; I may not be able to distinguish five tones, but I have a pair of extremely dexterous hands; I may not even be able to draw a table, but I am good at playing chess, and I also have extraordinary strength. Lu Xun once said: Even a person with average qualifications can become an expert by studying something for ten years. What's more, what you choose is your own strengths? In addition, while learning to accept ourselves, we must also learn to accept others. Because if individuals and society want to enter a virtuous circle, they need to cooperate with others, and a person who cannot accept others cannot cooperate friendly with others. A person who can truly accept himself will also accept others. On the contrary, if you cannot accept yourself, it will be difficult to accept others. At the same time, from whether a person can accept himself, we can also infer whether he can accept others, and from whether a person can accept others, we can infer whether he accepts himself. Therefore, if we can learn to sincerely accept ourselves, we will naturally accept others. Of course, you can start by learning to accept others and try to accept yourself. If we accept others and respect others, others will usually respond positively to us. Over time, we will continue to feel our own value and the dignity of life in others' acceptance of us. Then, self-acceptance will occur, and the result will be the same goal through different paths. There are many ways to make others feel accepted, the main ones are: 1. Learn to listen. When interacting with others, you can listen to what others have to say carefully and patiently without commenting. 2. Treat others with respect. That is, respect the dignity of the other person’s life no matter what happens to the other person. 3. Take the initiative to interact with others. If you want to interact with him, you must first let him feel your friendliness and sincerity. 4. Ability to identify and express appreciation for the strengths of others. "Everyone likes those who like themselves." Sincere expression of appreciation has always been a shortcut to quickly enter the hearts of others. 2. Don’t be swayed by the mentality of perfection. There is no absolutely perfect thing in the world, and there is no absolutely perfect person. The so-called perfection is just some illusory imagination. Therefore, people should take it calmly when facing their own shortcomings, be more satisfied and more confident, so that they will not be swayed by the mentality of perfectionism! Some people are constantly criticizing themselves because they have a perfectionist mentality and subconsciously pursue perfection. For example: they require their speech and behavior to be elegant and graceful at all times, and they try their best to restrain their nervousness when speaking. They ask themselves to do their best at work, but the fact is that they often tire themselves out, but work may not As good as imagined... People have a perfectionist mentality, and it is understandable and natural to pursue perfection. However, this pursuit of perfection is also a heavy burden. Under the pressure of modern society, , it allows perfectionists to see their powerlessness against reality, and thus become impatient, inferior, and even eager for quick success. There is a proverb that goes well: "There is no garden in the world without weeds." The Arabs put it humorously: "The moon also has freckles on its face." In the end, no gold is pure, and no one is perfect. There is no absolutely perfect thing in the world, and there is no absolutely perfect person. The so-called perfection is, to a large extent, just some illusory imagination. For example, in terms of a person's physical beauty, is it more beautiful to be tall or to be slim? Are big eyes more beautiful or red and phoenix eyes? Big mouth or small mouth? Plump or slim? It's hard to tell clearly. Therefore, people must get rid of the burden of "perfection" in their hearts, especially when facing their own shortcomings, they must be more satisfied and more confident, so as not to be burdened by the mentality of perfectionism! 1. Admit your imperfections. 2 Don’t be too hard on yourself. 3. Don’t expect too much from others. It seems to be human nature that bosses expect their subordinates to be proactive, wives expect their husbands to become successful, and parents expect their children to become dragons and phoenixes. However, when the other party cannot meet your expectations, you will be disappointed. In fact, everyone has his own path, so why ask others to cater to you. 4 Don’t strive to be first in everything.
Dante said: "Dedication is perfection." Therefore, you must correctly handle the dialectical relationship between hard work and striving for first place, and relieve the psychological pressure of striving for first place in a timely manner. As long as you work hard, it is enough, and you do not necessarily have to go all the time. Fight for first place. 5 Don’t let your perfectionistic tendencies become a burden. The reason why many people have many, many troubles is mainly because they cannot understand life correctly and view problems from a fair position, which results in their perspective being biased. Therefore, even the right things seem wrong to him. Mistaking what is right and fair is a cause of psychological distress. 3. Give up useless labor. As the old saying goes: He who tries his best but fails to achieve has no regrets. Can we also understand that when we deal with various big and small things in life, we only need to "do our best" and we will be satisfied. As for future success or failure, we don't have to worry about it. In this way Only then can we live a free and easy life and live out the great wisdom of life. There is a story called "Let Go": A woodcutter who went up the mountain to cut firewood accidentally fell off the cliff. In desperation, he grabbed a tree trunk halfway up the mountain. Although his life was temporarily saved, he was killed. Hanging in mid-air, on a bare cliff, there is no chance of climbing up. And below is the cliff valley, where there is a danger of being shattered into pieces. The woodcutter was helplessly waiting for rescue. At this time, an old monk happened to pass by. He told the woodcutter: "Let go!" The only chance of survival was gone. Instead of hanging like this all day and waiting to die, it is better to jump down - although you may not necessarily live, you may not necessarily die, and maybe you can follow the mountain to soften the impact of falling. Maybe you can still catch the stone, maybe not, maybe you really will die, but there is a big possibility that you may not die. Many situations in modern society are the same as those encountered by the poor woodcutter. He is in a dilemma, and neither fighting nor giving up is an option. Like chicken ribs, they are tasteless when eaten and a pity to throw away. At this time, it is better to give up the energy of support, let go happily, and put all your energy into it. Looking at life, everyone wants to pursue many things. If you focus on things that are endless and meaningless, then this kind of entanglement will never end. Sometimes, you will find that the things you are desperately pursuing are exactly what you should give up, and those things you should give up, you pursue persistently like treasures, and in the end everything becomes nothing but nothing.
