Fan Ye (398 AD - 445 AD), courtesy name Weizong, was a historian of the Song Dynasty in the Southern Dynasties and a native of Shunyang (now south of Xichuan, Henan). From the official position to General Zuowei, Prince Zhan Shi. In the 9th year of Yuanjia (432), the ninth year of Emperor Wen of the Song Dynasty, Fan Ye moved to Xuancheng to be the governor of Xuancheng and failed, so he deleted all the "Book of the Later Han" and made it one family's work. In 445, he was executed for treason, and the Ten Chronicles and Eighty Biographies were written. The ten ambitions originally planned were not completed in time. The eight chapters and thirty volumes in the current "Book of the Later Han" were extracted and supplemented by Liang Liu Zhao of the Southern Dynasty from Sima Biao's "The Book of the Continuation of the Han". Among them, "Yang Zhen Que Gold at Night" has been incorporated into primary school textbooks, and "Strength Order" has been selected into middle school textbooks.
