The role of the communication of public relations
first, it can not only cost nothing, but also achieve the purpose of expanding influence and improving the visibility of the organization. Second, well-planned news events have high news value and are easy to attract the attention of journalists and get their cooperation. Third, most of these events are dramatic, strange and interesting, and they are easier to attract the public than ordinary commercial advertisements. There is a famous saying "you have to spread" in the type communication of public relations. This shows that communication is a basic social behavior unique to human beings. The communication of public relations is a comprehensive communication behavior, which basically belongs to the level of organizational communication, but it has the characteristics of various communication types. From this point of view, studying the different types of general communication will help to carry out the communication activities of public relations. 1. Interpersonal transmission. Autobiography, also known as autobiography, refers to the way of information exchange and communication between the two parties, such as personal self-reflection, recollection, soliloquy, self-venting, self-comfort, narcissism, ideological struggle, inner conflict and so on. All people with sound minds have autobiographies. Through autobiography, people can achieve self-psychological adjustment when they are subjected to various external shocks, leading to successful and harmonious external communication. Interpersonal communication is the basis of all human communication behaviors. 2. interpersonal communication. Refers to the direct communication mode of information between people. This kind of communication, with high participation of both sides, diverse communication symbols, rich means, flexible information feedback and strong emotional color, is small in scope and slow in speed. For example, the emotional communication between men and women belongs to interpersonal communication. 3. Organize communication. It refers to the information exchange between organizations, the public and the social environment. The main body of this communication is social organizations. When the organization uses its closed communication, it is the internal communication of the organization, which has the characteristics of hierarchy and order; When an organization uses its open communication, it is the external communication of the organization, which has the characteristics of publicity and popularity, but it must be carried out with the help of the media. Whether it is internal communication or external communication, organizational communication has a clear purpose, that is, to achieve the goal of social organizations; It has strict controllability, that is, it obeys the overall goal of the organization and has good control performance; It has comprehensive characteristics, that is, because the communication targets are both individuals and groups, and there is a wider public. Therefore, its communication means include interpersonal communication, group communication, public communication and mass communication. This is a typical communication of public relations. 4. Mass communication. Refers to the mode of communication in which professional communicators copy a lot of information to the dispersed public through mass media. The advantages are: it can obtain the maximum propagation surface in the shortest time; Because professional journalists are "gatekeepers" and mass media are "filtering", the information disseminated is authoritative and persuasive; Personal emotional factors are less involved and highly open. Disadvantages are: the information feedback is slow and scattered, and the workload of evaluating the communication effect is large. In view of the large volume and strong influence of mass communication, it plays an important role in quickly establishing the image of the organization and expanding the visibility of the organization, so it is the main means of public relations communication. 5. International communication. Refers to the communication and transmission of information and ideas between countries. International communication has many functions: ① in order to exchange information needed by all parties, such as the introduction and export of science and technology, the exchange and discussion of academic views; (2) in order to promote their own ideas, such as issuing statements, submitting notes, creating international public opinion, etc.; (3) in order to establish and strengthen the relationship between countries, such as state visits, participation in international activities, cultural and artistic exchanges and so on. It is precisely because of the great role of international communication that "the two countries are at war and don't chop to make it happen" has almost become an unwritten rule since ancient times, so even when the soldiers meet each other, the exchange of information between countries must be guaranteed. In international communication, we must fully consider the influence of cross-cultural factors such as language, writing, customs, ethics, patriarchal ethics, politics and economy. Doing a good job in international communication is very important for a country to create a good international image and establish a good international environment, and it is an important means to carry out international relations.
