What is the obvious difference between China's diplomacy in modern history and that of New China?
China was a semi-colonial and semi-feudal country oppressed by imperialism in modern history, and the people of China suffered from war and poverty. After a long struggle and a high price, the people of China won national independence and people's liberation, and were finally able to build their own country in a peaceful environment. The people of China have deeply realized the value of peace from their own tragic experiences. This experience and understanding urged China's diplomacy to pursue the goal of peace and development. Secondly, China is a socialist country. We will never wage a war of aggression and enslavement of other people, nor will we be pushed and oppressed by slavery maintained by other countries as in the past. The national nature of socialism determines that the purpose and primary goal of China's diplomacy must be peace and development.
