Is network anonymity conducive to the discussion of public issues?
Anonymity, on the one hand, protects the parties from being suppressed by groups whose interests are damaged, avoids unnecessary risks, and hears more fair, objective and fierce remarks. However, anonymity still has a very bad influence, making the speech platform the best way for individual speakers to splash dirty water unscrupulously, and the government has to spend immeasurable manpower and material resources to identify it. To have a decent discussion on public issues, the basic quality of the discussant must reach a considerable level.
