Not being greedy is a treasure. Once, someone in the Song Dynasty got a piece of beautiful jade and presented it to Zihan out of respect for Zihan. Zi rarely thanked him but refused. The person offering the jade thought that Zihan did not believe it was a precious jade, so he said, "I have asked an expert in jade treatment to do an appraisal, and it is indeed a rare and beautiful jade." Zihan smiled calmly and said, "I use my non-greedy character as a treasure, and you do it with my non-greedy character." Beautiful jade is a treasure. If I accept your jade, both of us will lose the most precious thing." The jade giver also said that it is inconvenient to carry the jade, and if you meet a bad person, you will inevitably lose it. Zihan also instructed him to sell the jade, so that the person who offered the jade could return home rich.

Shu Xiang commented: "Giving to the victims is not virtuous, and Le's family will add more to it." He believes that Song Zi rarely gave charity to the victims without requiring them to repay kindness, which seemed better than Zheng Zi's. The skin is better.
