I am a lay disciple in Buddhism, that is, people often say "lay". In fact, there are only sayings of "observing precepts" and "practicing ten virtues" in Buddhism, but there is no "ten precepts". It seems that you have misunderstood "Ten Good Acts" as "Ten Commandments". It's not your fault. As an insider, I will give you a complete and correct answer:
All Buddhists should "observe the five precepts":
Do not kill, live a long life without disease; If you don't kill, you and your family will get a long and disease-free life!
Second, stop stealing wealth; If you don't steal, plus your own efforts, you can get rich property and rich retribution!
Three precepts, no adultery, good results; If you don't commit adultery, your whole family and future generations will get a dignified appearance, no disability and a rich image!
Under the temptation, a true credit newspaper that does not lie; Don't lie, you and your family will be treated honestly by others!
Five commandments, don't drink, you will get wisdom and wisdom. Don't drink (including not taking all kinds of drugs) to ensure that your family and children are smart and wise!
The above five precepts are subdivided into "ten good practices" of Buddhist disciples;
1, don't kill-don't deliberately kill any living animals in the world and eat their flesh, bones and other bodies. Monks can't eat the meat and bones of any animals! Lay disciples at home can eat any meat except dog meat, beef, turtle fish and eel, but you can't kill the animals you eat.
2. Don't steal-as the name implies, you can't steal any personal, public or national property for yourself;
3. No adultery-monks can't get married and have children, and lay disciples can only have sex with their wives and husbands, not with the second opposite sex;
4. Don't talk nonsense-don't brag, but seek truth from facts, tell the truth, be honest and trustworthy;
5, don't talk-don't say what you shouldn't say, don't comment on anyone and things, and dictate;
6, not two tongues-don't talk about the right and wrong of others, out of nothing, provoke others to fight with each other, and engage in disunity;
7. Don't swear-don't swear at anyone or anything;
8, not greedy-don't be too greedy in everything, including wealth, pornography, reputation and other fame and fortune;
9, don't be embarrassed-just don't quarrel with anyone loudly, everything is easy to discuss;
10, don't be stupid-be conscious and wise, and don't be pushed around.
This is the "five precepts" and "ten virtues" in Buddhism. This is my personal opinion, for reference only!
