When Zhuang Zhou dreamed of a butterfly, he could not tell who was the butterfly and who was Zhuang Zhou. Perhaps Zhuang Zhou dreamed of a butterfly, or perhaps a butterfly dreamed of Zhuang Zhou. It is said that the past is like a dream. In fact, not only the past is a dream, but the future is also a dream. We have neither past nor future. We have ten thousand reasons to believe that the present moment is real, but who can deny that dreams are not the truth?
Sometimes dreams are opposite to reality, and sometimes they are an accurate prediction, a god-like existence. No matter how connected it is with reality, the feelings in dreams are always so real. Whether they are joyful, sad or confusing, they all truly affect our mood and thoughts. This influence has been determined unconsciously. All our judgments, even our value orientation.
Looking back on the past, everything seems like a passing cloud, like a dream. If we had to do it all over again, I believe no one would be able to hold on again. Why? Because I always feel that it is a superhuman experience, not a sea of ??suffering that ordinary people can endure. But after we have experienced it and come here, we really don’t believe our own feelings. This feeling is weird. So we believe that the so-called real world is illusory. Everyone says that "the past is like a dream." Many people say it casually and follow others' opinions, but we don't know that it is the truest expression of life and destiny in our hearts.
Just like Zhuang Zhou’s dream of a butterfly, he cannot distinguish between inside and outside, and between you and me. Facts are never equal to the truth. What we see with our eyes is the opposite, so we would rather regard dreams as real feelings and existence. We think we are awake, but we don’t know that everything we do is controlled by the people and things in the dream.
There are dreams within dreams, and there are dreams within dreams. In dreams, we often lament that this turned out to be a dream. It seems that a sober me is looking at everything and reviewing everything, but waiting for us When the so-called "waking up" occurred, Fang suddenly realized that he was still in a dream. Therefore, how can you say that this world is not a person's dream?
I often walk among the bustling crowds, and suddenly I feel like I have lost everything. The feeling of being in a different world makes me convinced that I have been here before, and maybe I feel that I have returned to the so-called reality for just a moment. But still confused by the feeling just now. A sister Lin fell from the sky, and I have seen this sister before. Do you think you have seen this in a previous life? Or has it been seen in later generations? Or are we all members of the game kingdom? Has it all been there all along? What if there is neither past nor future?
In the vast world, we seem to have known each other. The moment when Yan returns, you think it is a moment, others may think it has been a long time, just like we are in a daze for no reason, we just feel that we are "distracted" for just a short while. , but the people next to us saw that we had been silent for too long. In Chapter 33 of "Zhuangzi", Confucius asked Laozi for the seventh time. The moment they met, Laozi stood there quietly in a daze. Confucius simply couldn't believe his eyes: A person can be as dumb as a wooden stake. Been there that long? Sometimes a moment is an eternity. It is this "sudden self" that is the origin and master of all things. Laozi calls it the "beginning of things."
The so-called "big self" and "higher self" seem to be more popular among those who are enlightened nowadays. Through our limited cognition, we try to overlook and gain insights into the world from a high position. There are really "higher self" and "higher self". Does a "bigger self" exist? Zhuangzi said, "All things are born when they are waiting for something, and they die when they are waiting for something." We are all looking for a common consciousness, such as the sun and the moon, and we use it as the basis and basis for life and death. Entering the vast space we can also find larger time and space scales. So some people look at the universe as a person. It has to be said that this is a level of human awakening, but it is not complete. If you do this, you will still fall into an infinite cycle, and you will never be able to escape and be free. It will not be the "nothing to wait for" as Zhuangzi said. This can only be a logical and self-consistent ambition of people under limited time and space cognition.
The Buddha said that there are three thousand worlds in a grain of sand. Even if a cell in our body is born and dies, it still has consciousness and spirit. They also have their own "sun and moon" like spatiotemporal scale. Their moment is not an eternity.
We all know to look outside, because it is a confusing law of "seeing is believing". If you look inward, if you compare yourself to an inconspicuous cell that is born and dies.
As long as we exist there unconsciously, what's the law of the jungle? Where can the weak eat the strong? A healthy person, every cell in him is happy, but a deadwood body with weakened blood, every cell in him cannot be at peace! What can it do if you want it to? It is better to be a peaceful soul. Everything is one, and everything is one, and naturally there is an incomprehensible power to arrange it properly, so let go of your anxieties, let go of your worries, let go of all your self-inflicted troubles. Be an unconscious observer, follow quietly, and observe quietly. I hear everything as it is, and I observe it as it is. Isn’t this the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara? Isn’t this the Taoist “inaction”? I am simply a simple existence. Who can do anything to me? Taking the father-in-law's head, walking naked in the mulberry house, Zhuangzi singing in the basin... All lives are intertwined, advancing and retreating together, survival and death, I am not having a good time, no one can be alone, There is nothing to be afraid of. In this way there is no life or death, no fear. A fearless me is the true vastness of my heart, and that is the confidence to live in this world.
The cells in our body can never recognize our existence, and we can never recognize the existence of the so-called "bigger self" and "higher self". Everything is just human conjecture. This world comes into being when we have speculations. Therefore, our existence may be the result of the speculation of a certain cell in the body that is born and dies.
Human beings self-righteously believe that the "bigger self" or "higher self" is an individual existence standing at a higher latitude! How perverse and absurd is this! Lao Tzu said, "Tao produces one, which produces two, two produces three, and three produces all things." Unfortunately, we always look for the origin of life from the perspective of "all things". The Great Dao generates Tai Chi, Tai Chi is "one", and life is "yin and yang". Yin and yang are "two". Yin and yang generate "potential differences" such as "high and low, front and back, sound", which can be called "three", and "three" is "Energy", energy produces "all things". Ultimately, the great avenue of nothingness is the true origin of life, which is the "original self" and the "greater self or higher self". This is "the void gives rise to wonderful existence". How can it become the multi-dimensional space that today's scholars think they are? ? From the high road to the simplicity, the lower the latitude, the closer to the truth. Otherwise, you will go astray and often sink into the sea of ??suffering.
In Zhuangzi's article, Laozi clearly pointed out that "there are people in China, neither yin nor yang." Not all living beings are a combination of yin and yang, there are also existences that are neither yin nor yang, and there are even mysterious existences of pure yin and pure yang. The so-called yin does not grow and yang does not arise. This is still people's sensory perception, not Zhuangzi's "guan knowledge stops and the spirit desires to act." Only by using "the gods" can we feel the origin and truth of the world. possible.
The Buddhist saying "the nature of dependent origination is empty" should be understood as two sentences. Everything arises due to conditions, and everything dies due to conditions. Only after the conditions have ceased will you realize that your own nature is essentially empty. The birth and death of all things, the right and wrong, the love and hatred in the world, are originally all empty. All our heart-broken hearts, life and death, crying and crying are just asking for trouble. It turns out there is nothing, nothing!
