Gorky once said: Books are the ladder of human progress. In these simple words, there are unique meanings hidden.
In fact, my writing ability is very poor, because I don't like reading, and I think reading is very painful.
One day, I went to my classmate's house to visit his room, and all I saw was a table, a chair and a book. I asked him: Are there so many books you read in your room? He replied, I have read all these. Suddenly, I was surprised. Then, I asked him: Do you have any good reading methods? He replied: There are really many ways to read. First of all, I will think about why the people in the story do this and why the writer writes this story. Then, I will continue to write this story in my mind, look back, taste some of my favorite clips and ask myself why I like it. I will also look at other parts and find something I overlooked before. After that, I will make a list of what I have learned from books. Then I thought: there are so many ways to learn, so I'll learn from now on. After a while, my composition has made great progress, which makes me very happy.
From then on, I knew that reading was difficult, but it was easy to practice.
Books are the ladder of human progress. Can't books make people progress?
