The admirer is the object of worship. To worship others is to worship oneself. Idols and symbols are the projection of oneself. Your idols, your books, your prayers, are reflections of your background, which are your creations, albeit made by others. You choose according to your own heart, and your choice is your bias. Your idol is your intoxication, which is carved out of your own memory. You are worshiping the idol created by your own thoughts. Your devotion is the love of "yourself" clothed in the hymns of your own mind. That idol is yourself, a reflection of your mind.
