Confucius clearly put forward three basic viewpoints of gentleman's morality and self-cultivation: benevolent people are not sad, wise people are not confused, and brave people are not afraid.
1. "Gentleman's Three Virtues" emphasizes three words of "No", namely, no worries, no doubts and no fears, which stems from the gentleman's experience in three aspects: wisdom, benevolence and courage.
2. Just like "the eagle stands like a sleeping tiger walks like a disease", the real strong always likes to hide the front and be clumsy, and wait for it. In front of others, it is often a wise man who is foolish and skillful. This is not to suppress one's own desires, but to cultivate one's character naturally.
3. The reason why benevolent people don't worry is that they have a kind and tolerant attitude, and treat all people and things in this way, which transcends the fetters of material things, so they are always carefree and happy, and they will not live in regret for the past and fear for the future.
4. When benevolent people know that the world is changing and developing, success or failure is nothing. Winning is not arrogant, losing is not arrogant, and being good at losing is not chaotic. This is their life pattern, and they will not always stare at the small things in front of them, nor will they change their mood because of temporary success or failure.
5. Why don't wise people be confused is because they are knowledgeable, principled and wise, and they can find the source and solution of things in a fog. No matter what happens, they can keep a calm heart and calmly treat the changes in their lives, and they won't get confused because of some unexpected things.
the spirit of "three virtues of a gentleman" is precious because the growth and development of bravery, dignity, elegance and honor are not achieved overnight.
