"One flower, one world, one tree, one Bodhi" means that the entire world can be seen from one flower, and one leaf can represent the entire Bodhi tree.

One flower, one world, one leaf, one Bodhi means enlightenment and wisdom. It is used to refer to people suddenly waking up from sleep, suddenly enlightened, breaking into the path of thorough enlightenment, suddenly realizing the truth, reaching an otherworldly realm, etc.

This sentence comes from a short story in the "Buddhist Scriptures". All the disciples asked the Buddha for Dharma, but the Buddha only took out a flower and showed it to everyone. Only the Venerable Kassapa realized the truth. In fact, "One flower, one world, one leaf, one bodhi" contains the meaning of seeing the big from the small, that is, a flower can bloom beautifully after being exposed to wind and rain, and a leaf can grow and gather into a towering tree after being exposed to the sun and rain. Bodhi, this is the development of the world and the law of development of the entire universe. Therefore, every small detail in life deserves attention, even a grain of gravel has its meaning.

Using the knowledge of "Book of Changes" to explain: Although a flower is small and insignificant, it is also a small world, a small circle that can be grasped by the hand. When placed under a protractor, it is Three hundred and sixty degrees, an infinite circle cannot be held by hand at all, but it is still three hundred and sixty degrees. "Its small has no inside, its big has no outside, everything is Tai Chi." This is "Yi" The philosophical thought of the Sutra. "One leaf, one bodhi", a leaf is not eye-catching, but a leaf can also represent a perfect individual. Because of this, a tree is a whole and is indeed composed of countless small individuals.

If there is nothing in your heart, your heart will naturally be pure. A flower, a grass, a grain of sand is a world, which is a microcosm of the entire universe. Knowing the great truth through small principles, knowing one's mind and seeing one's nature is enlightenment. Bodhicitta is a kind of thought, a state, a kind of consciousness.
