The temperature of the palm of your hand
It has snowed heavily these days, and everything is completely covered by the snow. The New Year is almost here. Looking at this white world, I couldn't help but think of the scene when I was a child celebrating the New Year at my grandfather's house.
I have a kind grandfather who loves me. Sometimes, grandpa always protects me with his warm and thick hands, which makes me feel infinite love and warmth. From birth to kindergarten, I lived under my grandfather's care.
I remember it was the Spring Festival, and there was still one week before the New Year. Grandpa wanted to take me to buy new year’s goods. It had just snowed and the weather was extremely cold. Grandpa put on a thick down jacket, small gloves, a warm woolen hat, and a scarf to cover my mouth, wrapping me tightly. . Grandpa always took me out on a tricycle. I was too young at that time and could not climb up or out of the car no matter how hard I pedaled. Grandpa opened his big hands and hugged me like a little rabbit and carried me to the car. inside. When I was buying New Year's goods, my grandfather took me down again and held my little hand tightly with his big hands, for fear that I would run away in the blink of an eye.
On the morning of New Year’s Eve, everyone in my family got up early to work, and my grandfather and I went to post new Spring Festival couplets. Ordinary glue cannot stick the Spring Festival couplets, so you can only use boiled hot paste to remove the paste. Although I used a brush paste, the sticky and slippery paste still easily stuck to my hands and I couldn't get them off, so I had to wash my hands. At that time, the water in the water pipe was as cold as ice. I felt that my blood was about to solidify. After washing, my hands were red and cold. Grandpa saw that I was shivering from the cold, so he held my cold little hands in his warm hands and rubbed them back and forth, exhaling while rubbing them. Slowly, my hands regained their warmth.
On New Year’s Eve, every household is setting off fireworks. The fireworks jumped up into the sky with a long "swish" sound, and with a "bang" sound, they exploded into thousands of flowers, which were extremely beautiful. I liked the flowers at that time, but I didn't like the "bang" sound. So, whenever fireworks were set off, grandpa would cover my ears tightly with his big, thick hands. Grandpa's big hands were big and strong. As expected, there was no sound when I covered them, and I could enjoy the fireworks with peace of mind.
As a child, I found it very funny whenever my grandfather used his hands to protect me.
As I get older, I gradually understand my grandfather's love for me. Those warm and thick hands carry his full love for me!
