Hypocrite. Therefore, Nietzsche wants to rise up for revolution, overthrow superficial God, liberate mankind and face up to the value of life.
"True philosophers are born after death." Nietzsche's words came true on himself.
Nietzsche's family background is quite special: his three generations of elders are German Protestant Lutheran priests. Because his father died young, he grew up in an all-female family. He used to study theology, but later he lost his faith and changed to linguistics. His Greek is very good. At the age of 25, he was hired as a professor of linguistics in a Swiss university before he got his doctorate, but he resigned after 10 years, and he went insane after 10 years. He died at the age of 45.
Nietzsche believes that every living thing will try to expand its activities and influence. Even if the weak succumb to the strong, it is to become the master of the weak.
Nietzsche said "God is dead"; God said, "Nietzsche is crazy." In the west, there are not many people who can "argue with God". The so-called "God is dead" is to re-evaluate all values. The values of the western world (especially morality) were originally based on religious beliefs. For example, if you ask a person why he wants morality, the answer is that God is omniscient and omnipotent, and evil will be punished. But after many people believe in God, their words and deeds are different and they become hypocritical hypocrites. Didn't believers like them murder God? Didn't it prove that God is a very useful tool?
Therefore, Nietzsche wants to rise up for revolution, overthrow the old superficial God, liberate mankind and face up to the value of life again. He wants to say "yes" to human life and all its potential. On this key issue, Schopenhauer's "will to survive" greatly inspired Nietzsche. Nietzsche believes that it is better to say "seek strength" (or "seek strength") than "seek survival", because some creatures will take actions at the risk of their lives in order to maximize their individual strength. Everything in the universe is showing the "will to be strong". Even if the weak succumb to the strong, it is to become the master of the weak.
Conquering oneself is a bigger challenge for a person. He said: "People who can't obey themselves will be led by others." So, be your own master and don't ask others for reasons for your actions. Few people can reach this standard. Nietzsche thinks that Caesar, Goethe and Napoleon are closer. The real ideal is "Superman".
Nietzsche's superman originally meant "uebermensch", which translated into English means "Superman", not "Superman". Superman is not to surpass others, but to surpass himself. Now that God is dead, the emptiness left behind can only be made up by "I become Superman". So, how can we become a superman? The answer is to give full play to the potential of body and mind. Nietzsche thinks that Napoleon and Goethe are likely to be close to this requirement. However, in the real world, his statement is easily misunderstood. Therefore, we must also refer to his theory of "three changes in spirit"
In Zarathustra, Nietzsche devoted a page to introducing three kinds of spiritual changes, namely camel, lion and baby. A man is a camel, that is, listening to others say to him, "What should you do!" " "This means that it is in the stage of passively accepting orders. Secondly, a man is a lion, that is, he says to himself, "What should I do? "This shows that he has changed from passive to active, can decide his own actions and create his own world. Then, when he was a baby, he just said a simple sentence: "I am." "This is the affirmation of the present tense, which means that everything is fine now and it is the beginning and progress of a new life. Only when the spirit reaches this stage can you become a real person.
Nietzsche's metaphor is very profound. No matter in the east or the west, many sages have affirmed that the purity and potential of children are models that human beings should cherish. However, what is really valuable is not the childish state of children, but that they are still full of confidence and hope after going through life. From this perspective, Nietzsche not only did not go crazy, but also did not rebel, but spoke the eternal truth.
However, Nietzsche does not think there is such a thing as eternal truth. One of his contributions to post-modern society is his view of knowledge. He believes that human knowledge is a process of explanation, which is manifested in the desire to dominate the will. The purpose of knowledge is not to know, but to dominate. Knowledge is a tool of strength.
Finally, the focus returned to people. Nietzsche believes that man is "a rope hanging on the abyss" and a rope between animals and superman. "Man is a species that must be surpassed. People are just a bridge of transition, not the end. " So, what is the life of all sentient beings in the world from ancient times to the present? Nietzsche said the answer of hitting the floor: "Superman is the meaning of the world." It means: if you want to understand all this on earth, you must wait for the arrival of Superman. When Superman appears, the meaning of everything will suddenly become clear.
