The history of panzhuang
Panzhuang Town, Ninghe District, was a post station and a traffic center in ancient times. According to records, during the Wude period in the early Tang Dynasty (6 18), when Li Shimin led the army to the east, more than ten families settled here, and the government supervised the cooking of salt, which was called "cooking salt stove households". After the completion of Zhuang, it was named Guanzhuang. During the Northern Song Dynasty (960), when Pan Mei was the commander in chief, Song Taizu gave the prison official village to Pan Mei as a fief, so it was renamed "Pan Mei Village" and later called panzhuang. In the sixth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1408), Panzhuang Town was established and passed down from generation to generation.
