This is Ling Boli’s warning about Shinji’s escaping from reality and refusing to contact others. It is also the message that Hideaki Anno wants to convey to the audience (dissatisfaction with the audience at that time regarding EVA as a refuge from reality).
Rei Ayanami, the heroine in the Japanese animation series "Neon Genesis Evangelion" and the manga version. The voice actor in the animated version is Emi Hayashihara.
In the work, Rei Ayanami is the exclusive pilot and first qualified person of EVA Unit Zero. Its true identity is a clone made by NERV using the somatic cells of the second apostle Lilith and the DNA of Ikari Wei. It exists as the soul container of Lilith.
