1. The Tao Te Ching, also known as the True Classic of Morality and Laozi, is a philosophical work written by Laozi (that is, Li Er) in the Spring and Autumn Period. Tao Te Ching represents Laozi's philosophical thoughts, expounds the profound meanings of "Tao" and "virtue", expounds Laozi's view of the world, philosophy of life and cultivation methods, and analyzes the connotations of all things in the universe and human beings in a three-dimensional and multi-level way.
Tao Te Ching, once known as the king of all classics, is one of the greatest masterpieces in the history of China, which has had a profound influence on China's philosophy, science, politics and religion. According to the statistics of UNESCO, the Tao Te Ching is a famous cultural name that has been translated into foreign languages with the largest number of publications except the Bible.
Second, the South China Classic, whose real name is Zhuangzi, is a Taoist scripture written by Zhuangzi and his disciples in the early Warring States Period. Today, there are seven internal chapters, fifteen external chapters and eleven miscellaneous articles, with 33 articles.
It is generally believed that Zhuangzi wrote the inner chapter, while the outer chapter and miscellaneous articles were written by his later scholars. Their main themes are "harmony between man and nature" and "quietism", which tells how people can transcend reality and reach the realm of absolute freedom. Nanhuajing has high research value in philosophy and literature, and is called "San Xuan" together with Zhouyi and Laozi.
Third, Chong Xu Jing, also known as Liezi or Chong Xu Zhen Jing, was written by Liezi, that is, Lieyukou, and belonged to the classic works of the early Huang Lao Dao family. The ideological theme of Chongxu Jing is close to Laozi and Zhuangzi, pursuing a realm of Chongxu nature, which embodies the Taoist school's longing for spiritual freedom.

The author of Seven Techniques of Yinfu in the Classic and Seven Techniques of Yinfu in the Classic is the famous Guiguzi, whose contents focus on the ways of nourishing the mind and keeping sharp, among which the first three chapters explain how to enrich the will and cultivate the spirit; The last four articles discuss how to apply the inner spirit to the outside and how to deal with external things with the inner mind.
5. Ge Hong, the author of Bao Puzi, whose own name is Bao Puzi, was called "Ge Xianweng". He was a medical scientist and pharmaceutical chemist in the Jin Dynasty and a famous Taoist. The outer part of Bao Puzi, written by him, is mainly an account of his life, while the inner part is an exposition of Taoist thought and the cultivation method of Dan Dao.
