Looking for the Poetry of Life/Li Xiangwen
People should live poetically.

This is a famous saying of German existentialist philosopher Heidegger.

The relationship between people, pitching for a lifetime, always lives in the secular world, always suffering more than pleasure. However, how to find poetry in life? There are two stories to illustrate that different attitudes towards life lead to different qualities. One is the story of China people. The life goal of the western shepherd boy: what to do with herding sheep? Of course, making money, marrying my mother-in-law, having children, and then herding sheep; One is the story of the Greeks. The Greeks caught two fish at the seaside and began to bask in the sun. He was asked why he stopped fishing. He asked: Why do you want to fish? The person who asked him said: you can make money by selling fish. If you earn a lot of money, you can become a rich man. If you have your own boat, you can bask in the sun by the sea. The Greek said, am I not sunbathing now? It's like a similar story, but it tastes different. The former's life goal is to make money, get married and have children, while the latter's life essence is to enjoy every ray of sunshine in life. The latter, on the sunny beach, we found the poetry of life.

The poet Haizi has a poem "Facing the sea, spring blossoms", which reads:

From tomorrow on, I want to be a happy person;

Comb hair, chop wood and travel around the world.

From tomorrow on, I will care about food and vegetables.

Living in a house facing the sea, spring is blooming.

Then, is it necessary to have a "house" facing the sea like Haizi, so that life can be considered poetic? Not exactly. Look at Confucius. He is going to live in a remote place called 91. Others say that the people in that place are uncivilized and the conditions are so simple. Can you live there? Confucius said, "Where a gentleman lives, there is no inferiority." Because there are gentlemen living, any humble place can become brilliant. There is such a passage in Shure that Confucius said, "Cut back on food and clothing, bend your arms and rest on it, and have fun." Unjust wealth is like a cloud to me. "Confucius is actually a contented person. He eats coarse grains and drinks white water, and when his arm bends, it is a pillow. Although life is bitter, it is interesting. Undeserved wealth, like clouds in the sky, is not my concern. Happiness is that simple! When a person knows that he is satisfied, his heart is always happy and philosophical, and his body and mind are naturally sound. Like a drop of water, if it evaporates quickly in the sun, once it flows into the sea, it will become a wave of happiness. However, although Haizi, a contemporary poet, "faces the sea" and finds poetry, he deviates from the crowd. Therefore, although he can "give every river and mountain a warm name", he still can't find happiness in his life and has embarked on a road of no return.

Therefore, we don't have to complain about the vulgarity or helplessness of life. Survival is hard, but life can create poetry. When I was young, I had such a life experience: on a stormy night, I was running alone on the tracks. The deception of life makes me tired of this world. By a river near the railway track, I suddenly saw a blue light coming out of a window. The light made me feel the warm call. Later, I wrote in a poem: the window opened by the river/the window has blue light/the stream overflows//I have been sitting in the rain curtain for a long time/no one knows/those happy lights/flying butterflies/have warmed one's expectations.

Yes, the light in this rainy night made me feel the warmth of the world and rediscovered the poetry of life. This poem is our attitude towards life.

Learn to live poetically, and you will find that life is so beautiful.
