In Honghua Temple, Lushi Ancestral Hall is indispensable. According to legend, 1200 years ago, his ancestral home was Lu, Anhui Province, and he became an ancient official and returned to Orient Mountain. Seeing the beautiful scenery here, he set up a farm here and retired. The founder of Houhonghua Temple, Master Yin Zhi (monk Decong), also traveled here. He vaguely felt that there was a Buddhist spirit here and decided to build a temple on the Oriental Mountain to spread Buddhism. After many explorations, I found Lu's ancestors to discuss this matter. Lu is also a Buddhist. He gave this place to the master and helped him to repair the temple extensively. After Lu's death, the master placed the coffin behind the Buddhist temple to commemorate Lu, repay Lu's painstaking efforts to build a Buddhist temple and promote Buddhism. At present, most residents at the foot of Orient Mountain are surnamed Lu, and they are all descendants of Lu. Honghua Temple follows the eternal legacy. Although it has been destroyed repeatedly, every time it is rebuilt, it is bound to build the Lushi ancestral hall behind the main hall, and set up memorial tablets and portraits of ancestors.

Honghua Temple has been to Bian Xiao many times, and the traffic is very convenient. There is a bus that can go directly down the mountain, and you can drive or take a taxi up the mountain. It takes about 1 hour to walk up the mountain. The mountain overlooks the whole Huangshi city, which makes people feel suddenly enlightened. In particular, the stone statue of Little Nisha in the temple is so lovely that people feel the seriousness and tranquility of Buddhism.
