Clarence Law Hero (1857- 1938) is regarded by later generations as the greatest defense lawyer in American history. During his career as a lawyer, he successfully represented many difficult and complicated classic cases, including the explosion of the Times Building in Los Angeles, the coal mine strike, the murders of Loubo and Libolu, and the famous court debate on evolution. He has made countless wonderful defenses for labor leaders, anarchists, colored people, evolutionists, minors and other criminal defendants in American society.
