Original poem:
Fly to the top of Chihiro Tower, hear the cock crow and the sun rise.
As written in a China poem, we are not afraid of dark clouds covering our sight, because we are already on the top of the mountain.
Translation:
There is a towering tower at the top of Feilai Peak. It is said that the rooster can see the rising sun when it crows. I am not afraid of clouds covering my farsightedness, just because I stand on the top of Feilai Peak and look up with a broad mind.
Extended data:
The first sentence used the exaggerated word "Chihiro" to describe the height of the ancient pagoda, and wrote the height of my foothold. The second sentence describes the brilliant scene of the rising sun seen on the tower in an ingenious and hypocritical way, which shows the poet's ambition for reform and confidence in the future and becomes the emotional tone of the whole poem.
The last two sentences of the poem follow the first two sentences to describe the scenery and express emotions, which makes the poem have vivid images and profound philosophy. The ancients often said that clouds cover the sun, while poets said "not afraid". It shows the poet's courage and determination not to be afraid of traitors in officialdom.
