My first contact with Osamu Dazai was thanks to the hero in Riemann's Moonlight is Beautiful. As the Minister of Literature and Art, he often quoted Osamu Dazai's classic quotations when expressing his inner activities, which made me interested in Osamu Dazai. So he found his most famous work, Human Disqualification, to read. Take the picture as evidence.
As shown above, the first sentence at the beginning of the text of Disqualification on Earth is "Looking back on the past full of shame". At that time, my first reaction was "Wow, what a cool person, so sad at the beginning", but the more I looked down, the more I felt that although Osamu Dazai wrote the life of the protagonist Ye Zang in this book, it reflected his pessimistic and withdrawn life. What he wrote was actually himself hidden in the depths.
Osamu Dazai, formerly known as Ma Xiuzhi, lived only 39 years old. In these 39 years, he committed suicide five times, and finally jumped into the sea with his beloved female reader Yamazaki Furong. In fact, when Osamu Dazai was born, his family was very good. He is the last in the family, with five brothers and four sisters. Maybe he didn't get much attention at home, which is also confirmed in his works: I have no confidence in my words and deeds, so I can only secretly lock my depression and tension in a corner of my heart, and at the same time pretend to be naive and cheerful, and gradually transform myself into a freak who plays the fool.
In his youth, during this period, he realized that as a landlord class, he was different from revolutionaries and even ordinary people, as if he were born with sin. In addition, several suicides in the later period all involved women, which deepened his guilt.
I think it may be because of this sense of guilt that he has been spreading the idea that "I am guilty of living, so I must die" when he created the works of Disqualification on Earth. However, when he found that death in real life was unavoidable, his characters went to self-destruction, from fear of real life to emptiness and boredom at birth, and finally degenerated because they could not find the meaning of life. However, the analysis of his mental journey and the description of the deepest weakness of human nature touched his true nature, which may be the reason why he occupies an important position in people's minds.
