Whoever will shock the world with his voice will remain silent for a long time; whoever will ignite lightning will drift like a cloud for a long time. ——Nietzsche
As for the origin of this famous saying, let’s explore its origins. First of all, there is no doubt that the original text comes from Nietzsche, but because it is a translation, the translated version is different.
First version: ("Selected Poems of Nietzsche", translated by Qian Chunqi, Lijiang Publishing House, 1986 edition, page 51)
One day there will be many things to say People
Author: [Germany] Nietzsche
People who have a lot to say one day,
Chang Moran hides many words in his heart;< /p>
Those who want to ignite lightning sparks one day must be a cloud in the sky for a long time.
Translated by Qian Chunqi
Second version: ("Collected Poems of Nietzsche", translated by Zhou Guoping, China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Press, 1986 edition)
Who will eventually Whose voice will shake the world
Who will eventually shake the world with his voice
Will remain silent for a long time;
Who will eventually ignite lightning
They will wander like clouds for a long time.
Translated by Zhou Guoping
This sentence is similar to the saying in "Han Feizi" "If you don't fly, you will soar into the sky; if you don't sing, you will become a blockbuster."
Qian Chunqi’s translation of this poem by Nietzsche was earlier, but Zhou Guoping’s translation made this sentence widely circulated.

Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche, 1844.10.15-1900.8.25), a famous German philosopher. The founder of modern Western philosophy, he was also an outstanding poet and essayist. He was the first to criticize modern Western society. However, his theory did not attract people's attention in his time. It was not until the 20th century that it aroused far-reaching echoes with different tones. Later philosophy of life, existentialism, Freudianism, and postmodernism all responded to Nietzsche's philosophical thoughts in their own forms.
