" The important role of reading in Chinese teaching For reading teaching, we should let students know the thoughts and feelings of the works, feel the exquisiteness of the language, learn a variety of writing skills, improve their ability to master the language, and feel the whole in reading. Cultivate a sense of language in reading and be edified. For example, for the teaching of classical Chinese in junior high school, the new curriculum standard has made clear requirements, focusing on the process of students' memory and accumulation of simple classical Chinese. In the first volume of the seventh grade of People's Education Edition, traditional masterpieces with simple words, such as Twelve Analects of Confucius, Doubt of the Wise Man and Acebon's Lost Horse, can make students memorize the whole article. In addition, in terms of classical Chinese grammar, such as morphology, syntax and other classical Chinese knowledge, the new curriculum takes into account the age characteristics of students, so junior high school students don't need to be involved too much, as long as they can understand the general idea of poetry with the help of notes and reference books, and teachers can't put too high demands on morphology and syntax like high school students. Therefore, only by strengthening the guidance of reading methods can students really learn to read, learn to read step by step, and let teachers and students get rid of the heavy reading teaching and read and understand easily.
Of course, if students want to learn reading methods, teachers must have methods in teaching. "It is better to teach people color than to teach them fish". Teachers should not only guide students to love reading, but also guide students to know how to read. Holistic cognitive reading refers to instantly recognizing a phrase or even a sentence and understanding its meaning as a whole, which can greatly improve reading speed; Read the search letter carefully, and pay attention to the symbols used by the author to emphasize the main points of information, such as the transition paragraphs and sentences between the search paragraphs, and the simple summary after "to summarize", "to summarize" and "from this".

The focus of teaching should be to carefully evaluate and guide students' specific reading. In the process of students' demonstration reading, we should not only evaluate their intonation, rhythm, pause and soothing tone, but also guide the places that are inappropriate and do not meet the author's intention in reading, and do a good job in demonstration reading so that students can better know how to read.
Second, read in layers and let students compare.
The reading goal is determined, and the teaching content in the classroom should be adjusted and combined accordingly, paying attention to the difficulty of reading to adapt to the level of students at all levels. In reading teaching, in addition to excavating the texts in textbooks, we also introduce extracurricular reading materials that are close to students' lives and easy to read, or excellent compositions of students. Different levels of text reading, students at all levels have their own place and income. For example, students with poor comprehension ability can hardly gain anything by teaching Mr. Lu Xun's "From Baicaoyuan to San Tan Yin Yue" because of difficult words. We read excellent compositions written by students about primary school life. The content of classroom teaching has been enriched, excellent students have gained new knowledge after reading the text, and ordinary students can also borrow superficial content. Deepen the understanding of textbooks, and underachievers can also gain a lot by reading shallow articles.
Third, reading guidance is stratified.
In class, we should try our best to cultivate the reading ability of students with learning difficulties and middle school students. How can those outstanding students make full use of their remaining academic ability and make themselves develop as much as possible? Based on years of experience, we ask top students to help students with learning difficulties read one by one. In addition, there is a 20-minute language interest class every Monday, which specializes in tutoring reading and writing. At the same time, actively encourage them to participate in composition competitions and quizzes on basic Chinese knowledge. Practice has proved that this has indeed found a place for them.
Fourth, information, try to let students find it.
Reading articles often involves the author, works, background of the times and other related materials, so students should find them themselves. The teacher's task is to arrange the corresponding requirements, provide information and channels for finding materials, and carry out necessary inspections.
Some materials may be difficult for students to find, so they must be provided by teachers. The practice of many teachers is to project relevant materials for students to read. I always feel that this effect is not very good. I think it's better to print out the relevant information for students to read, which can not only accumulate information, but also avoid forgetting a lot like projection, and the effect will be better. At the same time, teachers should clearly point out what needs to be memorized in the materials so that students can master it permanently.
Five, the basic knowledge and skills, let students do.

Make cards, and write famous aphorisms, wonderful fragments, beautiful words and wonderful sentences on the cards so that you can carry them with you and read and recite them at any time. Reading accumulation is very important for improving language application ability, so we should pay attention to cultivating students' reading habits of lifelong reading and accumulation. The first way to accumulate is to memorize more good words and sentences and expand your vocabulary. The second is to take notes and form the habit of taking notes in reading, which can guide students to accumulate idioms, famous sayings, epigrams, two-part allegorical sayings, good words and sentences, beautiful fragments and classic paragraphs.
