"Stories should come from life, not a single plot." This is Flahardy's wisdom, so his movie plots are usually short. "Nanuk in the North" is an obvious proof. There is no touching story in this film. It shows the daily life of Eskimos, their struggle for existence, how they look for food and how to keep out the cold.
