Praising Sakyamuni Buddha for his ability to manifest the power of incredible wisdom and supernatural powers in the evil world of five turbidities, to tame strong sentient beings, to know the Dharma of suffering and happiness, and to send his attendants to inquire about the World Honored One.

At that time, the Tathagata smiled and released hundreds of thousands of billions of great light clouds, the so-called Great Perfection Light Cloud, the Great Compassion Light Cloud, the Great Wisdom Light Cloud, the Great Prajna Light Cloud, the Great Samadhi Light Cloud, and the Great Auspiciousness A bright cloud, a bright cloud of great merit, a bright cloud of great merit, a bright cloud of great refuge, and a bright cloud of great praise.

Having released such indescribable light clouds, various subtle sounds also appeared, the so-called Tanparamitas, Corpse Paramitas, Hyantiparamitas, Viliyaparamitas, Zen Paramitas, and Prajnaparamita. After such indescribable and indescribable sounds came out, in the Saha world and other lands, there were countless billions of heavenly dragons, ghosts and gods, and they also gathered in the Trayast Palace. Situo Heaven, Hua Le Heaven, Other Transformation Heaven, Brahma Heaven, Brahma Assistant Heaven, Great Brahma Heaven, Shaoguang Heaven, Infinite Light Heaven, Guangyin Heaven, Shaojing Heaven, Immeasurable Pure Heaven, Ubiquitous Pure Heaven, Blessing and Rebirth Heaven, The heaven of bliss and love, the heaven of wide fruits, the heaven of no thoughts, the heaven of no troubles, the heaven of no heat, the heaven of good views, the heaven of good manifestations, the heaven of ultimate form, the heaven of Mahasora, and even the heaven of neither thoughts nor non-perceptions, all heavens, Dragons, ghosts, gods and other people came to gather.

There are also other lands and the Saha world, including sea gods, river gods, river gods, tree gods, mountain gods, earth gods, river gods, seedling gods, day gods, night gods, sky gods, and sky gods. , food gods, vegetation gods, and other gods, all come to gather.

There are also great ghost kings in other lands and the Saha world, the so-called evil-eyed ghost kings, vampire-eating ghost kings, essence-eating ghost kings, fetus-egg-eating ghost kings, disease-carrying ghost kings, poison-taking ghost kings, and compassionate-hearted ghost kings. The ghost king of welfare, the ghost king of great love and respect, and other ghost kings all come to the assembly.

At that time Sakyamuni Buddha told Manjushri Dharma Prince Bodhisattva Mahasattva: "You see all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heavenly dragons, ghosts and gods in this world, other worlds, this land, and other lands. Do you know the number of those who have come to assemble in the Trayastry Heaven?"

Manjushri said to the Buddha: "World Honored One, if I use my divine power to measure them for thousands of kalpas, I cannot know them."

< p>The Buddha told Manjushri: "I see with Buddha's eyes, so there are still countless kalpas. These are all the kalpas that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has saved, should be saved, and have not been saved, and have been achieved, should be achieved, and have not been achieved."< /p>

Manjushri said to the Buddha: "World Honored One, I have cultivated good roots for a long time and achieved unobstructed wisdom. When I heard what the Buddha said, I should believe and accept it. The Small Fruit Sravakas, the Eight Divisions of Heaven and Dragons, and the future world Even if all sentient beings hear the Tathagata's honest words, they will have doubts. If they accept them, they will be slandered. I only wish that the World-Honored One can speak widely about Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Mahasattva's actions and aspirations. "Think about the matter."

The Buddha told Ma?ju?rī: "For example, all the vegetation, jungles, rice, hemp, bamboo, reeds, and mountains and rocks and dust in the three thousand worlds, one by one, make one Ganges River; one Ganges River sand. , one grain of sand, one realm; within one realm, one dust, one kalpa, within one kalpa, the number of dust accumulated is all the kalpas. Since Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva attained the tenth level of earth, it is a thousand times more than the earth mentioned above. The Tibetan Bodhisattva is in the land of the Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas.

Manjushri, this Bodhisattva’s majestic vows are inconceivable. If in the future, good men or women hear this Bodhisattva’s name, they may praise or praise him. Those who pay homage, pay homage, make offerings, or even paint, carve, and paint images will be able to be reborn in the thirty-three heavens a hundred times and never fall into the lower realms.

Manjushri, this is the place. Tibetan Bodhisattva Mahasattva, long indescribable and indescribable kalpas ago, there was a Buddha in the world who was called the Tathagata of the Swiftness of the Lion and the Endurant of Ten Thousand Deeds. The son of the elder saw the Buddha's appearance and was adorned with thousands of blessings, so he asked the Buddha: "What vows have you made to achieve this appearance?" The Tathagata, the lion of swiftness and speed, said to the son of the elder: "If you want to realize this body, it will take a long time.

Ma?ju?rī, the son of the Elder, has made a vow: "I will set up expedients for all sentient beings in the six realms of sin and suffering for countless kalpas in the future. Only by myself can I achieve the Buddha's path." Therefore, I made this great vow in front of that Buddha to remain a Bodhisattva for hundreds of thousands of billions of unspeakable kalpas.

Also in the past, for inconceivable asamkhya kalpas, there was a Buddha named King Tathagata of Awakening Flower Concentration.

The lifespan of that Buddha was four hundred thousand billion asamkhys. Only robbery. Among the images, there is a Brahmin girl who has profound blessings and is respected by everyone. She is protected by all the gods when she walks, stands, sits and lies down. His mother believed in evil and often underestimated the Three Treasures.

At that time, the saintly girl set up various methods to persuade her mother to have a correct view, but the mother-in-law did not fully believe in her. Soon he died, and his soul fell into the endless hell. At that time, the Brahmin girl, Zhimu, was still alive and did not believe in cause and effect. If you follow your karma, you will surely be born in a bad destiny. Then he sold his house and asked for incense and other offerings, and made a large effort to make offerings to the pagoda and temple. I saw the image of King Tathagata Awakening Flower Concentration in a temple. His majestic appearance was painted and solemn.

At that time, the Brahmin girl looked at his face with admiration. She recited to herself: "The Buddha is called the Great Enlightenment and is endowed with all wisdom. If, when my mother dies, she comes and asks the Buddha, she will definitely know where she is." At that time, the Brahmin girl wept for a long time and looked at the Tathagata in love.

Suddenly I heard a voice in the air saying: "Weeping saint, don't be sad, I will show you the whereabouts of your mother." The Brahmin girl put her palms together and raised her hands to the sky, and Bai Kong said: "What kind of divine virtue is this? It forgives my worries. I have been missing my mother since I lost my mother." , Day and night, I remember my love, and there is nowhere to ask about my mother’s birthplace.” There was a voice in the space of time, and he said to the daughter again, I am the one you are looking at. In the past, I saw you remembering your mother, and I was more than a common sentient being. , so I came to announce. ”

When the Brahmin girl heard this, she threw herself and her limbs were damaged. He helped and waited on him for a long time. And Bai Kong said, "May the Buddha be kind and quick to tell me that my mother's world of birth, my body and mind, will soon die soon." At that time, King Tathagata Awakened to the Avalokiteshvara said to the Holy Girl, "After you have made offerings, you will return to your home early. Sitting upright and meditating on my name, you will know where your mother was born.”

Then the Brahmin woman went to find the Buddha and returned to his house. In memory of my mother, I sit upright and recite the Tathagata, the King of Enlightenment and Enlightenment. After a day and a night, I suddenly saw myself arriving at a seaside. The water boiled, and many evil beasts recovered their iron bodies and flew across the sea, chasing east and west. Men and women, numbering in the hundreds and thousands, were seen wandering the sea, being fought over and eaten by evil beasts. We also see yakshas with different shapes, some with multiple hands and eyes, multiple legs and multiple heads, mouths and teeth, and sharp blades like swords. Drive away sinners and bring evil beasts close to them, and then fight and seize them again, with their heads and feet close together. They have so many shapes that I dare not look at them for a long time.

At that time, the Brahmin girl had no fear due to the power of reciting the Buddha’s name. There was a ghost king named Wu Po, who came to greet him. Saint Bai said: "Excellent, Bodhisattva, why are you here?"

Then the Brahmin girl asked the ghost king: "Where is this?"

Wuxi replied: "This is the largest sea on the west side of the iron siege."

The saint asked: "I heard that hell is within the iron siege. This is true. No?"

Wu Du replied: "There is indeed hell."

The saint asked: "How can I get to hell now?"

Wudu replied: "If it is not the power of God, it requires karma. Without these two things, it will never come."

The saint asked again: "What is the reason for this water? It is boiling. There are many Sinners, and evil beasts?"

Wu Po replied: "This is the evil sentient being created by Jambudvipa. Those who died newly, after forty-nine days, have no heirs, in order to perform meritorious deeds and save them. To eliminate suffering, if there are no good causes during birth, one should naturally cross this sea first. There is another sea a hundred thousand leagues east of the sea, and there is another sea with twice as much suffering. Times. The evil causes of the three karma are called the sea of ??karma, and this is where it is."

The saint asked the ghost king Wudu again: "Where is hell?"

There are five hundred times, and the bitterness is immeasurable. There are thousands, and there are immeasurable poisons. "Bitterness."

The saint girl asked the great ghost king again: "My mother died not long ago. I wonder what the fate of her soul will be."

The ghost king asked the saint girl: "Bodhisattva. What kind of profession did my mother practice during her lifetime?"

The saint replied: "My mother had wrong views and ridiculed the Three Jewels. She may believe in them for a while, but then she will be disrespectful. Even though her death will be short-lived, she will not know where she will be born. ”

Wu Du asked: “What is the surname of the Bodhisattva’s mother?”

The saint replied: “My father and my mother are both Brahmans, and my father’s name is Shila Shanxian.” , the mother's name is Yue Dili."

Wu Po put his palms together and said to the Bodhisattva: "May the saint return to his original place without any worries and sorrows. Yue Dili, the sinful daughter, has been here for three days since she was born. Yun Cheng's filial son made an offering to his mother and gave it to the Buddha's Pagoda and Temple. The Bodhisattva's mother was not the only one who escaped from hell, but all the sinners would have experienced happiness on this day. ”

After finishing his words, the Ghost King clasped his hands and retreated. The Brahmin girl returns home as if in a dream. Having realized this, I made a great vow in front of the stupa of King Tathagata, Enlightenment Flower Concentration. I hope that throughout the coming kalpas, I will set up expedients to free all sentient beings from sin and suffering. ”

The Buddha told Ma?ju?rī: “The ghost king at that time was not poisonous, and the Bodhisattva of Money is the present one. The Brahmin woman is Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.”

Due to the divine power of the Tathagata, in various aspects, those who have attained liberation and followed the path of karma, each have thousands of billions of nayutas, holding incense and flowers to offer to the Buddha.

Those who came with me and others will never turn back to Anuttarasamyaksambodhi because of the teachings of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

These people have been wandering around in life and death for a long time, suffering in the six realms, and have no rest for the time being. Because of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's vast compassion and deep vows, each of them has achieved fruitful realization. When the sacrifice comes, my heart will be filled with enthusiasm, and I will look up to the Tathagata without turning my eyes away for a moment.

At that time, the World-Honored One stretched out his golden arms and rubbed the tops of hundreds of thousands of billions of inconceivable, indescribable, immeasurable, indescribable, and immeasurable clones of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Mahasattva in the Asamkhya world, and did this. He said: "In the evil world of the five turbidities, I taught and taught such strong and strong sentient beings, so that their minds could be tamed, and they would give up evil and return to the right path. Only one or two times out of ten, they would still have evil habits." I also have hundreds of billions of incarnations, and I have set up conveniences widely. Maybe it has powerful roots, and you will believe it and accept it after hearing it; maybe it has good results, and you can achieve it through diligent encouragement; maybe it is dark and dull, and it will only return after a long time; or it has heavy karma and does not generate respect. In this way, all sentient beings of this generation are different and have separate bodies to save themselves. He may appear in the body of a man, a woman, a dragon, a god or a ghost, or appear in mountains, forests, plains, rivers, ponds, springs, and wells, all of which are beneficial to people and save them all.

He may appear as the Emperor of Heaven, or as the King of Brahma, or as the Wheel-turning King, or as the layman, or as the King, or as the Prime Minister or Assistant, or as an official or subordinate, or as a Bhikkhu, a Bhikshuni, or an Upasaka, Upasika bodies, and even sravakas, arhats, pratyekabuddhas, bodhisattvas and other bodies can be transformed into salvation. Not only the body of the Buddha appears in front of him.

You observe that I have worked hard for many kalpas to save sentient beings who are suffering from such difficulties and sins. Those who are not tamed will receive retribution according to their karma. If you fall into the lower realms and suffer great suffering, you should remember that I was in the Trayasa Heaven Palace and diligently paid my instructions. Let all living beings in the Saha world be liberated until Maitreya is born, and be freed from all suffering forever, and meet the Buddha's prophecies. ’

At that time, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, who was incarnate in all the worlds, regained the same form. With tears in his eyes, he said to the Buddha: “I have been guided by the Buddha from a long time ago, and I have gained incredible divine power. With great wisdom. My avatars fill hundreds of thousands of billions of Ganges sand worlds. Each world takes hundreds of thousands of billions of bodies. Each body saves hundreds of thousands of billions of people, making them pay respect to the Three Jewels, escape life and death forever, and reach the bliss of Nirvana. However, for the good deeds I have done in the Dharma, no matter how small a hair, a grain, a grain of dust, or even a hair, I will gradually overcome them and achieve great benefits. I only hope that the World Honored One will not worry about beings with bad karma in the future. ’

This is what the Three White Buddhas said: “I only hope that the World Honored One will not worry about beings with bad deeds in the future.
