Since ancient times, Buddhism and tea have always been interdependent and inseparable, and they are called "Zen tea blindly". The allusion of "Zen tea blindly" comes from the famous saying of Zhao Zhou, a monk-"Go for tea".
Zhaozhou monks, the famous monks in the Tang Dynasty (778-897 AD), are often called "Zhaozhou Gate" because they live in Kannonji (now Bailin Temple) in Zhaozhou (now Zhaoxian County, Hebei Province) and spare no effort to spread Buddhism.
He has high attainments in Zen and tea studies. Tea Spectrum quoted Finger Moon Record as saying, "A monk went to Zhaozhou to visit the Zen master, and the monk said,' Have you been here recently?' Said, "I've been there." The teacher said, "Let's have tea." Asked the monk again, the monk said,' I haven't arrived yet. The teacher said,' Let's have tea. The owner of the backyard asked, "Why do you go to Ye Yun for tea, but never go to Ye Yun for tea?" The teacher called the master and the master agreed. The teacher said, "Let's have tea." "
Of course, it is Buddha's enlightenment. If you want to realize the hidden meditation of "tea-removing", you have to give up your desire and let go of the secular world. Nowadays, the prosperity and impetuousness, the desire for fame and money and so on have already blinded the eyes of the world. At this moment, if you want to have an epiphany, I'm afraid it depends on your nature.
In other words, I have always despised those who cram for the Buddha's feet. Do evil on weekdays and ask Buddha for help. If you really believe in Buddhism, you will do what you say and do on weekdays, do things with a clear conscience and respect Buddha. Even if you say Amitabha in a difficult time, the all-knowing and all-powerful Buddha naturally knows your difficulty and decides to cross it.
Of course, there are more fake buddhas and fake buddhas in the world than cow hair, so we can't say that.
That's too far. Let's continue to have tea. Lin Qingxuan once said: "Drinking tea is a very simple matter, without utility, secularity and desire." Now society is losing a precious quality, that is simplicity.
Zen is a simple heart, a simple experience and a simple idea. Zen is the simplicity of that moment. Nothing to ask for, nothing to care about, nothing to pursue. The light or strong taste has nothing to do with wealth, but with mind and wisdom. "When you were in the Qing Dynasty, you were incompetent. You love lonely clouds and monks. "
Japan even summed up the basic spirit of tea ceremony as "harmony, respect, purity and silence". This is a typical combination of Buddha and tea.
In addition, eat tea as a delicacy. The so-called tea is important because I can't drink the same tea as this cup in my life. This is like the famous ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus's famous saying that "one cannot step into the same river twice". With this in mind, you will drink slowly and your whole body and mind will enter this cup of tea. Focus, calm, quiet and simple.
So, in other words, you can drink tea Eat slowly! Wait a minute!
