Mathematics teachers in rural primary schools should influence students with true feelings and cultivate rural primary school students' interest in learning mathematics by reforming teaching methods, so as to achieve the goals and requirements of the new curriculum standards for primary school mathematics.
Keywords: cultivation; learning interest
The new curriculum standard of primary school mathematics points out: "Mathematics teaching activities must stimulate students' interest, arouse their enthusiasm and inspire their thinking;" "We should pay attention to cultivating students' good study habits and mastering effective learning methods. "As math teachers in rural primary schools, we should actively explore new math teaching methods to improve students' enthusiasm for learning math in view of the current situation that rural primary school students are not interested in math.
First, influence students with true feelings.
Gorky said, "whoever loves children will love her, and only those who love children can educate them." It can be seen that the power of love is infinite. Now many rural children have become "left-behind children". For students whose parents are not around, we should send them as warmly as our parents. The weather is getting colder. Tell them to put on more clothes. It's hot, take care of them for the summer; If you feel uncomfortable, accompany them to see a doctor; Chat with them after school and listen to their troubles; Encourage them to actively participate in group activities and play with their classmates. Let them fully feel the warmth, and let them study and live happily under the bath of teacher's love. They unconsciously find that teachers are like their parents, and school is their home. Young minds are no longer confused and lonely, which is conducive to their normal or better completion of their studies.
Second, create interesting problem situations to improve their interest in learning mathematics.
In mathematics classroom teaching, it is the first step for teachers to create real and interesting problem situations for this class. Because creating a good problem situation can stimulate students' motivation to explore and guide them into a positive thinking state and an exciting learning state. For example, when learning mosaic, we can create realistic and interesting questions: "Can a regular triangle be put together to make a floor tile? What about the regular quadrilateral? What about regular pentagons and regular hexagons Can you find out what is the relationship between the inner corner of a regular polygon and mosaic tiles? " Especially for left-behind children, such as "how can we save money by phone?" "How to spend the lucky money?" Such questions are not only in line with students' reality, but also very interesting, which makes students have the desire and interest to pursue answers. The classified query of periodical articles is in the periodical library. Third, teachers should be good at creating classroom atmosphere and stimulating students' interest. Classroom teaching process is not only the cognitive process of students, but also the development process of students' thinking ability. In this process, students' interest in learning and thirst for knowledge play an important role. Teachers should create a harmonious and happy learning environment for students, stimulate students' interest in learning, and make students participate in the formation of knowledge in the best psychological state. In teaching, teachers should seize the opportunity to guide students, so that students can acquire knowledge and develop their abilities in the process of solving problems. Teachers should encourage students' questions, whether they are correct or not, so as to create a harmonious emotional exchange and cooperation atmosphere between teachers and students. Practice has proved that the happier students are, the more active their thinking is, the more effective their wisdom is and the better their teaching effect is.
Fourthly, enhancing successful experience can enhance students' interest in learning.
The improvement of students' understanding and the overcoming of difficulties will eventually let them see the fruits of their labor and feel the joy of success. Pupils are emotionally unstable, and even a failure will make their enthusiasm for learning plummet. Therefore, in the teaching process, teachers should put forward different requirements for students at different levels. Let the students with good foundation have goals and let the students with poor foundation see hope. In the exam, don't deviate from the topic and blame the students with difficulties, so that most students can improve on the original basis and feel the joy of success. Students with unsatisfactory grades should carefully analyze the test papers, affirm their grades in person and point out the problems. So that they won't lose heart. Practice has proved that interest in learning really provides a strong impetus for students' learning activities, which enables them to achieve good results. This result, in turn, strengthens the interest in learning, makes learning more effective and provides a stronger motivation for learning.
Fifth, teachers should create opportunities for students to participate in experiments consciously, such as teaching the characteristics of a rectangle. If they are used to asking students to fold in half along the long side first, measure it and draw a conclusion; Fold it again along the wide edge, measure it and draw a conclusion. On the surface, this kind of teaching seems to be all participation and all hands-on. In essence, it is to let students walk to the end step by step according to the steps designed by the teacher. This kind of superficial participation can hardly stimulate students' enthusiasm for independent participation. If students are allowed to find their own way to see the characteristics of a rectangle, they will have room for thinking, and they will draw conclusions from different angles and in different ways, so as to truly play the main role of students. Too much help from teachers will only cultivate students' thinking inertia, which is not conducive to the cultivation of students' awareness of independent participation.
The new curriculum standard of primary school mathematics emphasizes the importance of mathematics: "Mathematics is an important part of human culture, and mathematical literacy is an essential basic literacy for every citizen in modern society." As a primary school math teacher, we should try our best to stimulate and cultivate primary school students' interest in learning, make classroom teaching meaningful and interesting, and comprehensively optimize the classroom structure. Only in this way can mathematics truly become a subject that students are willing to learn, arouse the enthusiasm of most students, and greatly improve the quality of primary school mathematics teaching and students' comprehensive quality.
