Brief introduction of Shaanxi dialect;
Shaanxi dialect can be roughly divided into three areas: Central Plains Mandarin, Jin Dialect and Southwest Mandarin. What we usually call "Shaanxi dialect" only refers to Guanzhong dialect.
1, Zhongyuan Mandarin-Guanzhong Dialect:
Guanzhong dialect is a branch of Central Plains Mandarin, and its representative dialects are Xi 'an dialect (Dongfu) and Baoji dialect (Xifu). Guanzhong dialect can be divided into Dongfu dialect and Xifu dialect. The former includes Xi 'an, Weinan, Tongchuan and Xianyang under Shangluo, Shangzhou-Luonan-Feng Dan-Yang Shan, Yichuan-Huanglong-Luochuan-Yijun-Huangling-Fuxian, Yuncheng-Linfen in Shanxi and Lingbao in Henan.
The latter includes Baoji City, Tianshui City, Qingyang City, Pingliang City and Southwest Ningxia. Guanzhong dialect is one of the most representative dialects in northwest China. The people who use Shaanxi dialect (Guanzhong dialect) are mainly concentrated in Guanzhong area, starting from Lingbao in Henan in the east, Tianshui in Gansu in the west, Yan 'an in the north and the northern foot of Qinling in the south, with a total population of about 50 million.
2. Jin dialect-northern Shaanxi dialect:
Northern Shaanxi dialect belongs to Jin dialect.
3. Southwest Mandarin-Southern Shaanxi Dialect:
Southern Shaanxi dialect belongs to southwest mandarin, and there are a few Central Plains mandarin, Jin dialect, Jianghuai mandarin, Chu dialect, Gan dialect and Xiang dialect in southern Shaanxi.
