Bach, the president of the Olympic Committee, is German. Thomas bach, 1953 Born in Wü rzburg, Germany on February 29th, was a former German fencer. Won the men's foil team championship and several world championships at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games. 13 September 10 June, Bach was elected president of the International Olympic Committee at its125th plenary session for a term of eight years to 202 1.
