Chi Fengcheng (1904— 1955) is a famous anti-Japanese star. 1904 was born in Jingxian county, Hebei province, and joined the 16th Huncheng Brigade of Feng Yuxiang Department of the Northwest Army as platoon leader and company commander from 1920. After 1927, he served as the battalion commander of the second regiment of the National Revolutionary Army. After the Central Plains War, he served as the 3 rd1division commander of the 26th Army of the Kuomintang government army. 1 was awarded to Major General Army, and in the same year 1 was awarded to Lieutenant General Army. After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he served as the division commander of 3 1 of the 2nd Army, and1was promoted to the 30th general of the 3rd Army in March, 939. 1943 served as commander-in-chief of guerrilla warfare in Hubei, Henan and Anhui in the fifth war zone. After 1945, he served as deputy commander-in-chief of the 37 th Army, deputy commander-in-chief of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in the 6 th Theater, and deputy commander-in-chief of the 33 rd Army. He has participated in Taierzhuang Battle, Xuzhou Battle, Wuhan Defence Battle and Zaoyi Battle. In the Battle of Taierzhuang, less than 10,000 people fought for more than 20 days to defend this isolated city and made great contributions to War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. During the War of Liberation, from 65438 to 0946, he served as the commander of the Second Army and the garrison commander of Bayi Fortress, the garrison commander of Baoding garrison headquarters of the Kuomintang Army, the member of the Kuomintang Lieutenant General, the acting chairman of the Hebei Provincial Government, and the Lieutenant General of the "General Suppression" in North China. 1949, instigated the uprising of Xu Zongyao, the stationmaster of Beiping, and led his troops to participate in the peaceful liberation of Beiping. In April of the same year, 1 was tried for "problems left over from history". 1955 March 16 died in Beijing prison.
