Should be counted as a famous quote.
This is a strange reading couplet written by Xu Wei (also known as Wenchang), a great scholar in the Ming Dynasty: "It is not easy to read well, and it is not easy to read well."
Correct reading The law is: good (hǎo) reading is not good (hào) reading, good (hào) reading is not good (hǎo) reading. It means that when you are young, it is a good time to study but you don’t like reading. In your old age, you like reading but it is not a good time to study. This couplet warns us to cherish the good times and study hard.
